Kara frowned as the sunlight hit her in the eyes, waking her from a wonderful dream about pot stickers, her frown deepened when she heard her front door open, and voice call out.
"Kara you home?"
"Ugh what do you want Mon-El?" Kara asked as she made her way to the living room where the daxamite was waiting for her.
"Well don't you look sexy," he said with a smirk as he eyed her up and down.
Kara cringed at the way he was looking at her, "once again what do you want?"
He took a step toward her causing her to back up, "I was wondering if you would like to have breakfast with me."
Kara rubbed her eyes, "look Mon-El I've told you a thousand times I'm not interested."
"Well we can go as friends," he said with a devilish smirk Kara couldn't resist.
"Fine let me get dressed."
"Great," he said as she watched her go.
"This place is amazing," Mon-El said with a moan as he scarfed down another cinnamon bun.
"Told you," Kara said as she finished off her own before answering her phone.
"Lena hey what's up?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to grab breakfast, but I'm guessing I'm too late," she heard.
Kara turned and saw Lena standing there smiling down at them as she hung up her phone.
"Hey," Kara said as jumped up and hugged the CEO before sitting back down.
"Hey," Mon-El mumbled.
"Am I interrupting something?" Lena asked as she took notice of the dirty looks Mon-El was shooting her.
"Not at all join us," Kara said as she slid over.
Lena smiled as she slid in next to the reporter, "coffee black please," she told the waitress.
"So working on anything interesting lately?" Lena asked as she finished off her coffee.
"Not really the aliens seem to be on vacation," Kara pouted as she reached for the check.
"Allow me," Mon-El said as he set some money down.
"Thank you," both women said as he just smirked at Kara.
"Well I need to head to work," Kara said as Lena stood up to allow her to go.
"We still on for dinner tonight?" Lena asked as she walked with Kara towards the door.
"Of course," Kara said as she headed out.
Lena and Kara were currently wrapped up in their second movie when Kara's phone rang.
"It's Barry," Kara said as she jumped up to answer it.
Lena paused the movie as she watched her best friend talk to the guy she was clearly crazy for.
Kara beamed as she set her phone down, "what?" she asked Lena when she noticed her best friend watching her.
"You like him," Lena teased.
"What? No I don't," Kara said with a blush.
"You totally do. You should invite him to my gala tomorrow."
"It would be nice to see him again," Kara said more to herself which caused Lena to smile.
"Great see the both of you tomorrow," Lena said as she gathered her purse and left.
Kara was nervous as she waited for Barry to cross the time field, she beamed when he appeared.
"Kara hey!" he said as he gave her a tight hug.
Kara returned the hug eagerly, "It's great to see you again Barry."
"You too," he said as they broke their embrace.
"So I talked to Winn and he said you are welcome to change at his place of you want."
"Sounds great," Barry said as he turned towards the door as someone knocked.
Kara opened the door and ushered Lena and Alex inside.
"Barry hi," Alex said as she gave the flash a tight hug.
"Hey it's good to see you," he replied as they broke apart.
"Barry this is Lena my best friend," Kara said with a smile as she motioned towards Lena.
"It's nice to meet you," Barry said as he held out his hand.
"Likewise," Lena replied as she shook his hand.
"Winn's outside waiting for you," Alex told Barry as she went to put her stuff in Kara's room.
"Great I guess I will see you tonight," he said as he beamed at Kara.
"Yeah tonight," Kara replied as she held Barry's gaze.
Lena and Alex exchanged a knowing smile as they closed Kara's bedroom door.
"Well bye," Barry said as he left the apartment.
"Barry's cute," Lena said as she slid on her dress.
"We are just friends," Kara mumbled as she zipped up Lena's dress for her.
"If you say so," Alex spoke up as she slipped on her heels.
"Shut up," Kara snapped as she grabbed her purse and stormed out of her room slamming the door in Alex's face causing her and Lena to laugh.
"Ready to go?" Winn asked as he and Barry fixed their ties.
"Good to go," Barry responded as he followed Winn out the door.
Kara, Lena, and Alex stepped out of the limo and into the L Corp building, "well I see people I need to mingle with, so I will catch up with you guys later," Lena said as she placed her hand on Kara's shoulder.
Kara smiled as she watched her go.
"I see Maggie, bye," Alex said as she walked over to the detective.
Winn and Barry walked into L Corp and immediately spotted Lena who motioned behind her towards Kara who was standing alone looking around.
Barry smiled at her as he made his way towards Kara who turned towards him and smiled.
"You look amazing," Barry said with a smile as he took in Kara's skin tight black dress that showed off her toned legs and with its plunging neckline showed off the right amount of cleavage.
Kara blushed, "thanks you do too."
Alex, Winn, and Lena watched as Barry and Kara continued to chat.
"Ugh they clearly like each other," Winn said frustrated as he threw his hands up in the air.
"I know my sister she won't make the first move," Alex said with an eye roll.
"I've got this," Lena said as she walked over towards the dj and whispered something to him before returning to the group.
"What did you do?" Winn whispered.
"Just watch," Lena replied
"Okay ladies and gentleman grab a partner and hit the dance floor," the dj said as he played Perfect Tonight.
"Care to dance?" Barry asked as he held out his hand.
Kara smiled as she took it and allowed him to lead her to the dance floor.
"Nice Luther," Alex commented as she watched her sister wrapped up in Barry's arms.
"Thanks Danvers," Lena replied.
"So are you having fun," Kara asked as she and Barry continued to dance.
"I am thank you for inviting me," he said as he smiled.
Kara blushed at the way Barry was looking at her.
"What?" Barry asked with a laugh as he pulled away so he could look into Kara's eyes
Kara couldn't make eye contact as she took deep breath, "Barry I," she started but was cut off.
"Kara there you are," Mon-El said as he pulled her in for a kiss.
Barry looked hurt as he shoved his hands into his pockets.
"Mon-El what are you doing?" Kara asked angrily as she pushed him away.
"James said you would be here," he said with a smile as he cupped her cheek.
"I uhh will give you guys some privacy," Barry said as he walked off.
"Barry," Kara called but frowned as he continued to walk off.
"Dance with me," Mon-El said as he pulled her into his arms.
Lena watched the scene unfold with a frown she knew her best friend had feelings for the hero and it was clear he had them for her as well.
"Barry dance with me?" Lena asked as she caught the hero before he could leave.
"Sure," Barry said as he placed his hands on Lena's hips.
"She likes you," Lena whispered as she and Barry swayed to the music.
"She does?" Barry asked as he looked over Lena's shoulder towards Kara who was also watching him.
"She really does," Lena responded.
"Isn't she dating that guy?" Barry asked as he motioned towards Mon-El.
"He wishes," Lena responded as she gave Mon-El a dirty look.
"How do I get her alone?" Barry asked as he and Lena continued to dance.
"My office is upstairs first door on the left; go there I will take care of the rest."
"Thank you," Barry said as he smiled at her before heading towards the stairs.
"Kara can I talk to you for a minute?" Lena asked as she grabbed Kara's hand and led her away from Mon-El.
"What's up?" Kara asked as her eyes scanned the the building.
"Looking for someone?" Lena asked.
"Did Barry leave?" Kara asked sadly as she continued to look around.
"Why don't we go to my office to talk," Lena suggested as she smirked.
"Okay," Kara said as she headed towards the stairs.
"You coming?" Kara asked as she noticed Lena lingering.
"Be up in a minute," Lena lied as she watched Kara nod before she turned and headed towards the party.
Kara sighed as she entered Lena's office she jumped when she noticed Barry smiling at her as he stood near the window.
"Hey," he said with a smile as he walked towards her.
"Barry what are you doing in here?" Kara asked confusion in her voice.
"Lena said I could wait in here," Barry answered.
"Wait for what?" Kara asked.
"I wanted to be alone with you," Barry answered as he walked closer to the girl of steel.
"Me? Why?" Kara stammered as she blushed.
"Kara I like you a lot," Barry admitted as he smiled.
"You do?" Kara asked shocked.
Barry just smiled as he cupped Kara's cheeks, "may I kiss you?"
Kara could only nod as she closed her eyes and waited.
Barry smiled as he leaned in and kissed Kara gently on the lips.
"I've wanted to do that for a while," he admitted when they broke apart for air.
"Am I dreaming?" Kara asked as she smiled at him.
"I hope not," Barry replied as he kissed her again.
Lena, Alex, and Winn watched the exchange with smiles on their faces, they all fist bumped before closing the door and heading back downstairs.
"Barry let's get out of here," Kara whispered as they pulled apart again for air.
Barry just nodded as he took her hand and led her downstairs and out the door.
Kara turned on the lights as she led Barry into her apartment, she bent down to take off her heels before setting her keys down and going to sit on her couch.
Barry bent down and took off his shoes as well before going to sit next to the nervous looking reporter.
"So what happens now?" Kara asked as she turned to face Barry.
"Whatever you want," he answered.
"It's going to be hard being on separate earths and all," Kara began.
"True but you say the word and I will be here in a flash," Barry said with a smile.
Kara laughed as she playfully shoved him.
That sound was music to his ears as he grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes, "I really care about you Kara and I haven't been able to stop thinking about you.
"I can't stop thinking about you either Barry."
Barry beamed as he leaned and kissed Kara gently.
Kara was quick to deepen the kiss as she tangled her hands in Barry's hair and pulled him on top of her.
Barry began moving kisses down her neck, as he ran his hand down her sides causing her to shiver.
"Barry let's move this to my room," Kara whispered.
"Are you sure?" he asked as pulled back.
Kara just nodded as she sat up.
Barry smiled as he picked her up bridal style and ran to her room, Kara giggled as Barry set her on the bed gently before removing his tie and jacket as he went to kiss her again.
Kara sighed as Barry trailed kisses down her neck, she had wanted this for so long and now it was happening she was kissing the flash.
Barry ran his hands up and down Kara's side causing goosebumps in their wake.
Kara couldn't take it anymore she leaned up and ripped off Barry's shirt sending buttons flying everywhere.
Barry smiled as Kara blushed, "sorry," she mumbled as Barry shrugged off the shirt.
"No worries," Barry said as he leaned down and kissed Kara passionately. He ran his hands down Kara's sides as he lifted her up and slowly unzipped her dress peeling it off and tossing it behind him.
Kara blushed at the way Barry was looking at her as he leaned down and kissed her quickly before standing up and taking off his pants leaving him in just his boxers. Kara smiled as she sat up and unhooked her bra slowly sliding it off as she smiled at Barry.
"You're so beautiful," Barry grinned as he crawled back on top of Kara and kissed her deeply, he kissed his way down her body as he slid off her underwear as well as his own.
Kara stared at him in awe as he crawled back in top of her and kissed her deeply before entering her, Kara moaned in pleasure as Barry moved in her slowly before picking up his pace as he kissed her deeply.
"Wow that was wow!" Kara exclaimed as she and Barry lay cuddled up in her bed after hours of lovemaking.
"Yeah it was," Barry said with a smile as he kissed Kara quickly as he pulled her closer.
"Kara you home?!" Alex called as she and Lena entered the apartment.
Lena laughed as she nudged Alex and pointed to the clothes littered about.
Kara quickly grabbed a robe as she opened her door and saw her sister and best friend standing there with their arms folded and sporting big grins.
"Not a word," Kara snapped as she held her hand up and pushed the laughing woman out the door.
