June 13, 2013. Who would ever believe that we were not alone in the universe. All the money our government sent searching for life and they just showed up one day on our doorstep. Looking for one of their own. I was afraid, we were afraid and they demanded we turn over him or we were going to face the consequences whatever that meant. Being good diplomats we, our government just handed him over. I guess they thought this would bring peace, but the exact opposite pursed.
They fought among each other with extraordinary power this world has never seen. The military got involved, but was no match. Then the reality started setting in. With all the technology, military mighty and weapons of mass destruction, they were capable of so much more.
The battle that ensued damaged Gotham and nearly destroyed Metropolis. The shock waves were even felt as far as the Indian ocean. Massive amount of sea life came up dead. And we were still clueless to what was going on. The one that walked among us defended us. He must of was the strongest, an angel, a God.
A race insuded that hasn't been seen since the conquering of the western world. Wayne Industries and LexiCorp as at the forefront. Everybody was obsessed with alien tech debris and fallout. There was even a rumor that someone even collected a dead body.
24/7 news coverage video footage of spirits crashing into building bright lights and flashes as falling buildings being broadcast over and over again. Is this the end of world or something new? Who knows, but whatever happens the world will never be the same.
It has been 20 years since the vigilante hung up his cape and cowl. The city ain't what it use to be, sad and decrepit. When that schizophrenic clown killed his ward. I believe he died with him. All he feels is sorrow. But something is changing talk of aliens from outer space, taking over the world. Maybe, just maybe, will bring about a pulse.
"Bruce!" a female voice call in the distance, "we need to get out of here they say it's not safe. The threat is too close."
Mr. Wayne is sitting in his office chair watch a monitor broadcasting the current events. He is wearing a fine tailor made suit, blue with a light blue shirt. He is still stunned like everyone else trying to make sense of it all.
"Yes, we have to go.. " Wayne tears himself from the monitor and hustle to the exit jolting down 46 flights of stairs. He runs out on main street and is over ran by people fleeing. He stops and stare up at a nearby building that has just been hit. Streaks and flashes of lights and then some type of beam that looks like a cross between a laser and lava. The build twist in midair. He hears a girl crying. His instinct kicks in as he runs toward her while everyone is running away. The build beings to block out the sky the only thing on his mind is reaching this little girl. He cannot do anything against a building, but maybe she won't die alone.
He reaches the girl and grab hold her dust is everywhere and the rumbling of metal twisting like if it was paper. He braces for an impact as objects crash all around him. Then silence. The air clears and he still holding the girl still alive, angry and upset.
