I knew it the moment I saw her: I loved her. That beautiful green goddess that stood over that bustling city...I wanted her to be my wife. Sure, she never said a thing and she was always rooted in that single spot, but I was never very picky when it came to women. I loved her with all my soul, that beautiful innocence of heaven! Plus, she might be the first woman I can drag under water and still be alive! Wouldn't that be great?
Every day, I wish her good morning, but she never replies back. She's probably too embarrassed to speak to something like me, but...that's okay. As long as she's always there when I wake up, I'm happy. Sometimes, I peek my head out of the water just to get a good glimpse at her, but someone always starts screaming, so I just dive back down.
My life has been going on like this for almost two years now, I'm sure...
Still...what I'm doing is probably just meaningless, anyway. She's probably a pure, innocent angel, so there's no way she would actually talk to a monster like me. Yeah...she'd never even look at my hideous face...I should just die - no wait, what am I thinking? I should...I should just wing it! Yeah! I'll kiss her and, if I'm lucky, she'll return my feelings!
I mean...what else is there to lose except my dignity and everything I stand for? Yeah! Let's do it! I WILL CONFESS MY LOVE!!!!
I...I hope I can do it...
Slowly rising out of the ocean's depths, the monster later known as 'Cloverfield' let out a mighty roar. Thousands of humans down below let out shrieks of terror and began to disperse as the monster made its way towards the Statue of Liberty, which it towered over immensly.
Amidst all the screams and shrieks, the monster smiled gently at the large unmoving statue, its huge body still dripping with sea water. Leaning forward, the monster closed its eyes and pressed its lips against the statue...causing its head to fall off due to the pressure.
The monster opened its eyes and let out a shrill roar of sorts when it realized what had happened. It splashed through the water for a bit before finally finding the head. The monster started deeply at the head of the statue before an incontrollable rage overcame him.
"RRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
Swinging its clawed hands everywhere, the head of the Statue of Liberty flew out of its grip and crashed somewhere in New York City. Now, with its heart broken and its mind numb of all emotions except hatred, the monster began its attack...

I still believe in your eyes
I just don't care what you've done in your life
Baby I'll always be here by your side
Don't leave me waiting too long, please come by
I-I-I-I still believe in your eyes
There is no choice, I belong to your life
Because I will live to love you someday
You'll be my baby and we'll fly away
And i'll fly with you-ou
I'll fly with you-ou-ou
I'll fly with you-ou-ou-ou
Every day and every night
I always dream that you are by my side
Oh, baby, every day and every night
Well I said everything's gonna be alright
And i'll fly with you-ou-ou
I'll fly with you-ou-ou-ou
I'll fly with you-ou-ou-ou-ou
-Thank you-
