Will had never truly felt jaded in his life. Even when Elizabeth had been promised to Norrington, he had understood not only its purpose, but that expecting a blacksmith to ever be allowed to marry a governor's daughter was completely unrealistic. But Jack? First off, what could she see in him? And second, she had already promised herself to him! How dare she kiss Jack?!And how dare Jack betray the trust Will had placed in him?! Yes, as they headed back to Tia Dalma's in the longboat, Will truly felt jaded, but he could get over it. Jack was dead after all, and he couldn't defile his love anymore.
