Hi everyone! This is just a terrible one-shot I wrote last night in a sleep-deprived high. My friend bade me to post it and I guess that's what I'm doing. If you read Astronomy - 0, an update will be coming soon, I am so sorry. Writer's block is hitting and I've got finals.

ADD INSULT TO INJURY

Hermione stopped at the front desk, and dinged the little bell.

Without looking up the green-robed witch behind the counter began the monologue."Hello and welcome to St. Mungo's please fill out this form- Oh hello Hermione love."

"Hi Healer Grenwich, nice to see you, is he in the usual ward?" She asked anxiously, determined to get past the medi-witch and find her idiot.

The older lady nodded and smiled. "Yes, I'll lead you up." She got out and joined Hermione before starting towards the long hallway. Hermione followed, even though she already knew the path to the fourth floor, Spell Damage,by heart.

"That boy of yours," Healer Grenwich talking again, and Hermione pretended to listen even though she was going through her list of hexes. "I thought it was bad back when he was just messing around with that brother of his. But now." She made eyes like she didn't need to go on. And truly, she didn't.

"I must say though dear, he's lucky to have you. If it'd been my husband he would've been outed within the first hospitalization. I don't know how you put up with it!"

"Me neither." She mumbled, but smiled politely to the Healer. Thankfully they could part ways now, as she was at her destination. She waved, but the green-robed woman suddenly grabbed her hands.

"But honestly dear, I think you're lucky to have him as well. You balance each other out perfectly. Now go check on that naughty boy, I'll take care of the paperwork." And she left, leaving Hermione feeling rather touched.

Dismissing it, she went into the room. Propped up on the hospital bed, and grinning that stupid half-grin was the idiot himself, and she had to remind herself to be angry.

He was still in his work robes, as the logo pinned to his shirt smirked at her. His right arm was wrapped up heavily except for his ring finger, which bore a mammoth red jewel. And his bright red hair looked absolutely striking against his new burgundy skin.

"Oh Merlin, thrice in one month George?" She asked him, exasperated as she sat down in the chair next to the bed.

George shrugged. "New product coming out - turns your skin different colors when you put on a ring. I was going to wait till you came home to test it, but temptation got to me."

Hermione scoffed. "You're treating it like no big deal - George, what if your skin is permanently maroon?"

Infuriating her further, he shrugged again. "I'm sure it'll be fine. Besides," He winked at her. "I happen to think I look rather fetching in Gryffindor red."

Despite her deep blush she snorted. "As if your ego needed anymore boosting."

"Liar." He poked her nose with his free hand, and she impulsively scrunched it up. "You think I look gorgeous. In fact, I bet you'd go as far as to say I look positively handsome."

Hermione couldn't help it - she laughed. That was her downfall.

"Healer Greengrass?" He called to the passing-by medi-witch. She turned to him with a little sigh and a What?. "Hermione think I look handsome right?"

"Whatever." The pair laughed at her retreating back.

And with George Weasely, one laugh meant even more laughs. And tickles, that made her forget that they were in a public place and not at home on the couch.

When Healer Grenwich returned with the release papers, she wasn't surprised in the least to find the two laughing together, not even realising they were now both back to normal.
