(I own nothing. This was a request from a friend and I will only continue if he approves of it. That being said, please enjoy and tell me what you think. Good day and God bless!)
It was the eve of Holloween; mid evening.
Heavy rain clouds loomed over the peaceful streets of domino city.
All were in the comfort of their homes, fully aware of the immanent rain with little fear of much at all.
That was, of course, with the exception of two individuals.
One, being the man in the card shop. A bespectacled elderly man who worked till the late hours when the shop was known to close. A quiet man that not many knew much about. His name was Mr. Kaze.
The second was just around the corner, attracted to the outside by the rainy weather and having no real reason to be here but his own amusement.
When the man was not ready for it, that second individual practically threw himself through the swinging doors.
"Aaa!" He cried, leaving behind his duster and turning to his mysterious customer "What in the word-!?"
There on his doormat was the very clear form of a young man.
His shoulder length hair was ashen grey with was visible from his black hoodie. Sharp blue eyes scanned his horizons as he smiled that same classic smile of his.
"Oh, well hello there." Said the man as he approached him "What can I do you for?"
The young man jerked his head in his general direction.
"Hello sir." He said, soft spoken, his voice hypnotic "Tell me, what do you sell here?"
"Well, um, this is a card shop."
"So what do you sell?"
"…. Cards."
The odd part was that he appeared genuinely surprised by that fact.
"I am Mr. Kaze." He held out his hand for the other to shake "May I ask what your name is?"
The boy slapped his hand like a high five but answered his question, none the less.
"Kumokuro," He said "Yuuki."
