Whoosh! A kunai flashed through the air at lightning speed. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" yelled a certain blonde headed ninja. An exact copy of him appeared in front of the latter, taking the kunai in the stomach. But as soon as the kunai hit, the clone turned into smoke, taking the kunai with it.
"Good technique, Naruto! That will come in handy in the upcoming war!"
"You really think so, Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto asked, a blush crawling up his face
"Yeah! Now, you should go tell Sakura-chan and Tsunade-sama that we are done here." Kakashi told him
"Ok. See you later Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto yelled, vanishing into thin air. Kakashi smiled. His student had grown so much since Sasuke had left Konoha, even mastering the 4th Hokage's famous jutsu's, the Rasengan and Flying Raijin! Note to self: Thank Sasuke for leaving
BANG! The door burst open in the Hokage's office. "Tsunade-baachan! Sakura-chan! The training room is open for y-" He was cut short by a punch to his head. He went flying across the room and put a hole in the wall opposite the door.
"WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT RUNNING IN TO MY OFFICE WITHOUT KNOCKING! I COULD BE PLANNING YOUR ASSASSINATION!" Tsunade screamed, leaving Naruto cowered against the wall, shivering out of fear.
"I-I was just coming to tell you that the training area is open for you." Naruto stuttered, slowly standing up and backing against the wall.
"Oh, thank you! So sweet of you! C'mon Sakura-chan, let's go practice!" Tsunade's change in attitude was unsettling.
"O-Of course, Hokage-sama! Bye Naruto-kun" Sakura walked away at a swift pace, obviously trying to hold in her giggles.
All was calm in the Forest of Death. But then, Naruto appeared suddenly. UGH! there's nothing to do! Well,might as well catch up on sleep! Naruto thought to himself. He took some blood from one of his wounds. "Summoning Jutsu!" He yelled, slamming his hand on the ground.
In a plume of smoke two foxes appeared. "Aww, Naru-senpai, did you have to summon us now!? We were in the middle of a shoji game, and I was about to win!" Whined the smaller one.
"Hah, yeah right. I had all your generals. Anyways, what do you wish, Naruto-sama?" Asked the taller one.
"I'm gonna sleep, and since there are warrants for my death across the other lands, so I want Himana-chan to keep watch." He pointed at the largest fox. She nodded, and disappeared "And, Usui-kun, i want you to cuddle with me!" Naruto jumped at the fox, teleported behind him, and teleported into the hammock that he had suspended between two trees.
Unbeknown to him, a shadow was watching him. Silently jumping down he pulled his ANBU mask over his face. He really wanted to kill Naruto, but he had to bring him back to his master. He kicked Naruto, who automatically woke up and took out a shuriken. "Who are you?" Naruto asked. The man pulled back the corner of his mask, revealing his eye. Naruto gasped.
"Shadow Strangle Jutsu" With the speed of a bullet, a hand made of shadows shot across the distance between Naruto and the assailant. Naruto gasped as the hand began to strange him. He gasped for air, but it refused to fill his lungs. He made a final struggle, and then gave up, falling backwards unconscious.
In all the confusion, Usui had been forgotten. He cowered in a bush, watching the struggle between the two. Once they were gone he called Himana. "Himana-senpai! Himana-senpai! Naruto-senpai has been kidnapped."She didn't respond to him. He went looking, and found a note saying that her summoning had unraveled. He could feel his unraveling, too, which meant he didn't have a lot of time to get to Konoha to tell everyone. He had to hurry!
