A/N: This is what happens when it's way past your bedtime and you have nothing better to do than to browse around Youtube until you stumble upon something familiar completely by accident: Judge Claude Frollo singing in the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Obviously, being the late hour it is, your brain starts making weird connections—along the lines of how Zurg would look like in the same scene; where his sorrow and shock at previous events warp him down a dark and twisted choice. And it all went downhill from there. So what do you get when you mix a crazy, lecherous old man (no pun intended for the wonderful Tony Jay—may he rest in peace) and a crazy Zurg fan? CHAOS, THAT'S WHAT. Enjoy this remake of the Disney classic Hellfire, Zurg style. And no, I don't own Frollo, nor do I own Zurg. Nor Disney/Pixar. So get off my case, all right? XDD

X'ngfire

X'kumalu-mi X'io X'pitukal-mi (I confess to Nana almighty)
X'thistil X'anithl x'vmthl X'thrgu (To blessed X'anithl ever Pure)
X'thisti X'anaethl x'sikthuk (To the blessed protector X'anaethl)
X'thistul x'ngkth x'uit x'this (To the holy nine, to all the Graces)

X'thistil X'anithl
You know I am a righteous man
Of my virtue I was justly wronged

X'u x'thchu x'this (And to you, Grace)

X'thistil X'anithl
You know I'm so much purer than
Those lying, hateful, prejudiced outsiders

X'uk x'chath x'uum (That we have sinned)

Then tell me, X'anithl
Why I see him mocking there
Why his smold'ring eyes still scorch my soul

X'iithklmal (In truth)

I feel him and remember
That fateful day the sky turned red
Those memories to this day haunt my soul

X'uimth x'u x'athl (In hate and malice)

Like fire
X'ngfire
This fire in my skin
This hateful
Desire
Is turning me to sin

It's not my fault
X'yth x'uamthl (Take revenge)
I'm not to blame
X'yth x'uamthl (Take revenge)
It is the foreigner
The man who sent this flame
X'yth x'ichthl x'uamthl (Take our revenge)

It's not my fault
X'yth x'uamthl (Take revenge)
If in Nana's plan
X'yth x'uamthl (Take revenge)
She made the foreigner so much
Stronger than a man
X'yth x'ichthl x'uamthl (Take our revenge)

Protect me, Xanithl
Don't let this demon cast his spell
Don't let his hatred sear my flesh and bone
Destroy the space ranger!
And let him taste the fires of X'ng
Let him pay for his crimes and his crimes alone!

X'ngfire
Dark fire
Now foreigner, it's your turn
Atonement
Or your pyre
Repent or you will burn

X'io X'kthlku (Nana have mercy)
Nana have mercy on him
X'io X'kthlku (Nana have mercy)
Nana have mercy on me
X'io X'kthlku (Nana have mercy)
But he will atone
Or they will burn!

A/N: Just a last note to say, no, this "space ranger" IS NOT referring to Buzz. If this had to be dated, this would have taken place BEFORE Zurg became an Evil Emperor. Think of it as counseling to imaginary spirits in a shattered mind before becoming set upon the dark path ahead. See if you can interpret this without taking it into the "other" direction. Oh, and one more thing—a VERY important thing actually—this language, that the spirits chant and stuff, was created by another wonderful Zurg fan. I asked permission to use it, and she acquiesced. Thanks again!
