AN: My Doctor Who trivia game told me that Tim was 14 during The Family of Blood/Human Nature. (1913.) So hopefully all of my timelines will line up smoothly, going by this. (I'm also making up his birthday to be in May. It keeps things simple for me, 'cause May is in the middle of the year.)
By the way, I don't live in the UK, and Doctor Who is really the only place I've learned about British terms and slang. Please bear with me if I get some of those details wrong. Thank you!

Hello. My name is Timothy Latimer. Just a few months ago, a man came to my school by the name of John Smith. We all thought he was just a strange schoolteacher with his head in the clouds. We were all wrong. John Smith was actually a Time Lord called 'The Doctor,' who was an alien from another world. He became human to hide from a horrible alien family who wanted to consume him and live forever.
I had always been a good guesser, but the Doctor made me realize that my gift wasn't ordinary. A watch that he used to store his Time Lord consciousness spoke to me, but only me. The Doctor realized this and told me I had had a low level telepathic field around me ever since I was born; I could predict things that hadn't happened yet, and guess answers to questions without knowing the answer. Before, people would call me a freak. I had no friends, because no one wanted to hang out with the 'haunted boy.' But years ago, I had had something happen to me before.
