"Alright class since we're ahead of the other classes we're gonna do a fun little exercise." Iruka announced.

Iruka then passed out a single piece of white paper to each of his students. "Now I want all of you to draw a picture of everyone in your family. Add as much detail as possible."

With that said everyone started to draw pictures of there families. Some pictures had a house as a background others had a field, then there were some who just didn't have a background and only drew stick figures (Shikamaru).

Near the back of the classroom sat a whimpering blond. His hands clenching his pants and his eyes sewed shut brimming with tears. His head was cast down so that no one could see his saddened face.

But even though he hid his depressed face he couldn't stop the weak and sorrowful whimpers that escaped his lips.

'Why would Iruka-sensei give us this?' Naruto thought 'this..this…this sucks!'

As Naruto was sulking to himself a raven haired boy that was sitting relatively close to the blond overheard his sorrowful whimpers.

'What's wrong with him?' the raven known as Sasuke thought. 'Probable nothing.'

But curiosity got the best of the youngest Uchiha, he picked up his things and moved closer to the blond.

Without Naruto noticing the young Sasuke was sitting right next to him. Sasuke thoroughly examined the young blond.

Seeing no cuts or wounds the young Uchiha was stumped 'What's bothering him? Or is he ju-'

His thoughts were interrupted as his eyes gazed at Narutos paper. There was a field for a background with some trees thrown in there, and in the middle was a somewhat decent (for a 6 year old) drawing of a young blond boy.

'Is this is what's bothering him.' Sasuke then pulled the piece of paper in front of him so that he could see it better.

Near the bottom was a tiny message that read "all alone." Sasuke then turned his vision back to the blond. 'Oh.' He thought, realizing why Naruto was upset.

"Alright class. Turn in your drawing on your way out." Iruka announced, noticing that it was time for class to end.

Sasuke handed in his paper then he stared at the blond and smiled, Naruto didn't get a chance to see Sasuke's smile, when the blond looked up he saw Sasuke leave with his brother Itachi.

Naruto sighed and went to grab his paper when something caught his eye. His message was replaced with a new message that read "I'll be your family."

Confused the blond looked up from the message and at his drawing that now had not only him in their but a raven haired boy to.

After examining his picture over and over again, something clicked 'Sasuke?'

He took a second to let it soak in then smiled 'Sasuke!' the blond thought happily.

He turned in his paper and asked if he could have it back if Iruka didn't mind. And during his walk home he hugged the paper and just kept thinking 'Sasuke!'
