Chapter 1
The story opens with Ruby visiting Vale on a Saturday night where she goes to visit while Tai Yang is off on a mission. And Yang going with her friends from Beacon Academy. She comes across several stores but none seem to catch her eye. She is about to leave when she comes across the till dust to dawn shop. She decides to go in "Eh what the heck why not." She goes in the store and comes across the comic book stand. "Finally some comic books" Ruby said. Roman then says " Hurry get in the van we already got the cops on our tails." The henchman get the boxes of Dust and put it in the van. Gun shots are fired at the van. The henchman throw themselves in the van. The cops ram into the back of the van." You idiots shoot back at them." The gun fire between the police car and van intensifies. The police car explodes and two henchmen fall off the van. Soon 3 more police cars join in."Grrrrr I'm going to have to shake them off, close the door."They follow Roman's orders and close the doors of the van. Roman drives recklessly throughout the streets that he carries pedestrians with his van. The police speed up an perform the box strategy. They close in on him he speeds up not looking where he is going and crashes into the Till Dust to Dawn shop. Ruby notices the van and dives to save the shopkeeper "look out." The van crashes loudly into the shop barely missing Ruby and the shopkeeper. "You ok" she asks .The shopkeeper nods soon the police are right in front of the shop." Freeze put your hands where I can see them" a police yells out pulling out a neon blue looking shotgun. "Oh sorry about the shop but I got to go." Roman's henchmen throw smoke bombs at the police from the van. While the cops are distracted Roman quickly gets into the van, and drives off into the distance. The police recover from the smoke bombs and chase Roman in their vehicles. Ruby uses her semblance to catch up to Roman. She quickly slices the van into pieces with the help of her semblance. Roman dives out with a hand full of dust capsules and runs into a nearby helicopter." Hurry up or we are going to get caught "a woman in red calls from the helicopter. "Yeah I know I am going as fast as I can" Ruby transforms her Crescent Rose into gun mode, and fires at the helicopter. Cinder switches places with Roman stalling time for the henchmen to bring the dust boxes in the helicopter. Cinder blocks Crescent Rose's shots with no effort. A van and other cars tires screech loudly. Roman quickly steps out of the helicopter. And fires at the police the police take cover behind their cars. A bullhead makes it's way to the helicopter. Ruby shoots at the henchmen being successful. Cinder takes the opportunity to burn her and shoots fire from her hand. Ruby quickly notices and jumps back from the flame. Cinder quickly goes up for a melee attack while Ruby is distracted. Then Glynda blocks Cinder's attack with a hail of shards . Cinder counters with a blast of flames. Glynda then makes a cloud raining down ice shards on Roman. Cinder blocks the ice shards with fireballs. Cinder says "Hurry up and put the cargo onto the bull head." Roman: "There the dust is in the Bullhead" he says. Ruby fires shots at the Bullhead but is ineffective. Glynda is then attacked by a barrage of fireballs going towards her and Ruby. Glynda makes a energy shield on her and Ruby. Cinder then goes into the Bullhead and they get away with barely any dust. Glynda "You know that was risky what you have done right" with a stern look on her face. Ruby says quietly "Yes but." Glynda interrupts by telling her" Just follow me ok. Ruby nods
