Everything has a price to it.
That's what Archie told himself every time he sees Betty smiling and laughing with the person he also genuinely appreciated; Jughead.
Yes, it took him awhile to accept Betty is now happy with someone else. Who knew that the girl who was his everything is now with his own best friend?
Did he made a wrong choice for letting her go?
Perhaps.
"Archiekins?"
Veronica's sweet honeycomb voice echoed, pulling him back to reality.
"You're doing that again."
"What?"
"…That." Veronica pursed a small smile, though her brows were knitted into somewhat worrying. She couldn't hide her emotions. It wasn't jealousy that she was feeling.
She wanted true answers from Archie. And this was the last straw.
"You. Looking at Betty and Jughead."
"Oh." Archie let that melt into his mind and sighed, running his hands through his red locks. The school hallways were busy as usual.
But whenever Veronica tries to bring up this subject, the crowd just gets louder. As if he didn't want to admit whatever reason he had been staring at the couple.
"It's nothing, V."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. I have you."
Veronica smiled, and pecked a kiss on Archie's soft lips.
"I love you." Veronica whispered into his ears, and left for her class.

hey all. I'm sorry this is short. Just a quick warm up! So I read an article where KJ Apa thought that Barchie was endgame because that's what he knew all his life. I think that it's really cute he sticks to the Barchie thing. So here's a bit of a Barchie snippet.
Also, did you know in the comics Barchie is actually called Bettchie? Haha! Let that sink in.
