I've always hated demons. William thought.
He bowed in front of the Demon, looking up at him.
"I apologize profusely for any inconvenience cause by this" William said to the Sebastian.
They're cruel, rude, and have no self control.
William averted his eyes from Sebastian, and glanced off to the side.
It was a cold winter's day. I was just starting my training as a shinigami.
I had been working with my trainer, Genesis, at the time.
"Ah, here is my business card." He continued, still bowing. He used his death scythe to give the business card to Sebastian.
But when he was doing that, he continued recalling his reason for hating such creatures as this one.
He had actually sided with the demons. Some shinigami he was. He led me to them, saying that it was a normal training thing. It was foolish of me to believe him, but I was just a trainee at the time. I had been turned into a shinigami only a week before.
There were about 12 of them, all hideously disgusting creatures.
"Hey look," one of them said, pointing to me. I looked at them innocently. "Seems like our toy has arrived." They all started coming to me, One of the grabbed my by the neck. I yelled for help. I wanted Genesis to help me, but he laughed and stood watching them. "See ya'." Genesis said, leaving.
"Honestly, having to bow my head to vermin like you really does smear mud across the shinigami name."
I sometimes wonder if he knew how badly they would hurt me. The demons, literally, dragged me to the depths of hell. They tormented, humiliated, and permanently scarred me for the rest of my life. They brought me back to my realm afterwards, and they left me there. I was beaten so badly I was like putty. I was gushing blood from, my sides, head, and stomach. Almost every bone in my body was broken. I had passed out by the time they brought me back. And when I woke up, I would never look at another demon the same way again. I had to have almost a year or more of recovery, and Genesis was never seen again.
I will never forget that day.
"Well, in order for you not to cause the 'vermin' further inconvenience, please keep a close watch." Sebastian said, throwing that business card William handed him off to the side. "Humans are vulnerable to temptation. When they are forced to stand on the hellish precipice of despair, they will unfailingly take any route out of it that appears before them. No matter what kind of web it tangles them in. No matter what kind of person they are."
William listened to that demon, still bowing. When Sebastian finally finished speaking, though, he stood up straight.
"The ones who take advantage of that and taunt humans are demons, no?" William said, pushing up his glasses with his death-scythe.
"I am not denying that." Sebastian smiled a bit evilly, holding in a laugh.
"I suppose that those dogs kept leashed as pets are better than the mad dogs that run around with no principles. Well, we shall return, Grell Sutcliffe." William grabbed Grell's blood red hair.
"My goodness," William said. "At a time when we're already short handed. Once again, I won't get to leave today." William ranted on about how he the director would scold them, and he continued pulling Grell by his hair, but he was still thinking about how much he loathed demons.
