"In the Rain"
She could trust him. She knew she could.
And when he caught her? She hadn't felt freer in her whole life.
Who knew that shivering in the rain and pouring out her heart and feelings to him would make her feel so alive? She never expected it, especially with him.
"Thank you," she stated with a grin on her face. The others had long since left the gym, allowing her to be alone with him. Earlier MJ had wanted to set up an interview, which she had learned meant that Sasha had finally allowed her to go to the Nationals with the others.
He glanced up from his paperwork and grinned at her. "You deserve it, Emily. Just keep up what we've been doing together and you'll do great."
Her grin grew at his words. "Really?" To her surprise, having his support and belief in her really meant a lot to her.
He nodded, still grinning, "Go home rest up, I'll expect to see at 5 again tomorrow."
Emily nodded, "Thank you," she stated quickly again before rushing out of the room and out of the gym.
