Dream Date

Sarah sighed looking through a magazine. "There are no cute guys anymore…other than the ones that are WAY to OLD for ME." She grinned and pulled out the newspaper, "Except of course for you.." Sarah giggled and held the newspaper close to her. On it was a picture of the Boy Wonder.
"Sarah Grayson what are you doing?"
Sarah looked up to see Bruce staring down at her. She blushed and sat up. "Um..I was…"
She watched as he picked up the newspaper.
"What's this?"
"It's a newspaper…" Sarah replied.
"I can see that..but who I wonder would you be going so gaga over?" He looked it over then smiled, "Would it be Robin the Boy Wonder?"
"Maybe…"
"Aw. My little girl has a crush."
"BRUCE!!"
"Hehe…"
"Don't tell ok. Dick would have a hay day if he knew."
Bruce looked into Sarah's eyes seeing that she was really scared. "Sarah, Dick would never do that."
"Yes he would."
"Ok. I won't tell."
"Thank You!!" She watched Bruce leave hoping her adopted father wouldn't tell.
Down in the Bat Cave Robin looked up to see his mentor coming down. "Batman what's wrong? You are actually smiling."
"You're sister Dick has a crush on you."
"But..how?"
"She's in love with Robin."
The Boy Wonder's ears turned bright red he adverted his eyes.
"What's wrong?" Batman thought it was hilarious. Robin was blushing. Sarah didn't know who Robin was. All of it was just classic. "Well chum, why don't we go see this little girl?"
"What?!?!!"
"As Batman and Robin."
Robin wide-eyed looked at his partner. "W…Why?"
"Because, I think you should take her on a date."
::Wow… Batman is really into this.:: The Boy Wonder sighed, "Oh ok.."
In Wayne Manor the doorbell rang. Sarah ran down the stairs she fell and accidentally slid. She hit the front door hard. Dazedly from the floor she pulled the door open. "H..Hi…"
"Are you alright?" Robin asked as he helped her up. Sarah nodded not exactly noticing who helped her up. "Are you sure?"
Sarah looked up and blushed she couldn't talk. "Um..I..uh…"
"We're here to see Bruce Wayne."
"He's not here right now.." Sarah answered softly. Robin was still supporting her. He was so warm.
"Robin why don't you help this young lady to the couch. She looks a bit shaken."
The Boy Wonder nodded and helped Sarah over to the couch. Aunt Harriet was just coming in. "Oh my. Batman and Robin." Then she noticed Robin helping Sarah to the couch. "Sarah, my dear, what happened?"
"We were out side but we heard this big crash. I think she fell."
"He's right Aunt Harriet. I was running down to beat Alfred thinking it was Kelly and I slipped on the rug in the front foyar. Next thing I knew I was on the floor then I hit the door hard."
"Well maybe that will teach you not to run in the house. Your brother Dick had to learn that to. Only he broke an arm. You stay right there young lady. I'm going to get a compress."
Sarah didn't feel like fighting her aunt and laid back on the couch. "So..why do you wanna speak with my father?"
"It's police business."
"Oh…"
"Hey um Sarah…I was um wondering…"
"Yeh Robin?"
"The policemen's ball is next week. Do you have a date?"
Sarah froze, was he trying to ask her on a date. "No..I don't…"
"Would you go with me?"
