a/n: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

"Sasuke-kun…Merry Christmas…" said a pink-haired kunoichi.

He flashed that scene many times in his head. What's a big deal about this 'Christmas'? It was just another reason of those ninja instructors to have a day off. And besides, it will only be a waste of your money, time, and energy. The ninjas should be training…Or so Sasuke thought...

But in truth was, why is there still Christmas if he doesn't have someone to spend it with? There's no one to chat with while eating the feast and no one to see you while opening your presents and more importantly no reason to be happy or thankful for. His entire clan was gone. Everybody he cherished and loved was gone.

He walked slowly alley after alley leaving deep and heavy footprints in the snow. He walked slowly and was determined to until midnight. He didn't mind the coldness and wetness of the snow. He didn't mind even the snow getting knee deep. But then again, it would be nice if someone would spend their Christmas with him, just this once.

"Sasuke-kun…Merry Christmas…" a pink haired kunoichi whispered again in his head.

He could take that thought out of his head. This girl…though she can sometimes get on his nerve, he couldn't take this girl out of his mind.

Maybe I should visit her. He figured. That way, hopefully, she might get out of his head. But come on, said his conscience, is that the real reason why he wanted to see her?

But before he could even reach her place, he heard light footsteps. And to his surprise, he saw that kunoichi that keeps flashing in his memories. She was carrying wood back to her house, he assumed.

He smiled and she smiled back.

"Merry Christmas." He said without meaning it.

"Merry Christmas too, Sasuke-kun." replied the kunoichi.

"Hey um…" she continued. "Would you like to spend Christmas with my family?"

Sasuke smiled. "Sure, I'd love too…"
