Author's note: Great thanks to Billy Joel, who I don't know but he kind of wrote the origanal song so I thought I better say thanks.(The origanal song was Uptown Girl in case you're wondering. I love that song. I'm always lip singing it. Nobody will let me sing it out loud. I get hit if I do). And thanks to Jade who had the idea for a sqeual to Daniel, Henry and Fred.
Uptown Cup
"Uptown cup, he's been living in his uptown cupboard. I bet he's never had coffee bag. I bet the potter never told him why. I'm going to drink from a uptown cup. He's been living in his shortbread world, as long as anyone with hot coffee can. And now's he's looking for a coffee mad man. That's what I am!"
Jack O'Neill looked up from his newspaper to see Daniel dancing around singing. They were sitting outside Dr. Fraiser room. Dr. Fraiser was fixing Daniel's beloved coffee cup, Henry. "Daniel, what are you doing?" asked Jack.
"I've written a song for Henry," said Daniel. "Do you like it?"
Jack went back to his newspaper. "No, Daniel, I don't. Why?"
Daniel didn't care. "You should talk to Fred for a while, Jack. He's great fun to talk to. He knows some great jokes!"
"Hey Fred, how's the world of rocks?" Jack felt really stupid doing this but he didn't want to upset Daniel. It was his own fault they were here in the first place. So, he made sure that Daniel was getting ready to start singing again before he muttered "Boring. Oh good. That's what I thought."
Daniel contiued singing. "And when he knews what, He wants from the kettle-tle-tle,And when he sits there, And erm, erm, sits there some more-ore-ore!"
Jack was beginning to look at Daniel in a very funny way in deed. Dr. Fraiser came to the door to see what he was doing.
"What on Earth is Daniel up to?" asked the doc. Jack just shurgged. "Can you make him stop it?"
"I tried," said Jack.
"What did he do?"
"He told me to talk to the rock."
"He'll see I'm not a nerd, just because, I'm in love with an uptown cup.You know I've seen him in his uptown cupboard, He's getting tired of his high-class handle, And all the present from his tea-cups,He's got a choice."
"Wait Jack. I've got an idea! Oh Daniel!" At the sound of Dr. Fraiser saying his name, Daniel stopped."I've got a message from Henry. SHUT UP!"
"Oh, did he like my song?"
"Did he like your song? I'll give you did he like my song!" Dr. Fraiser picked up Fred and threw it at Daniel. Only Daniel ducked and Fred hit a fire alarm. Every member of the SGC suddenly made a run for it, one of the teams happened to need to run through Dr. Fraiser's room. Henry was in Dr. Fraiser's room. There was a very loud crash. Daniel screamed. Go figure.
