Disclaimer: All I own here is the concept.
A/N: I've thought a lot about the ending of the film and this is just one idea I've had for it. Just a short drabble told in first person narrative from Tamara's POV. Hope you enjoy.
Poor, pathetic, little Kisha. I bet what was left of her wondered why I let her live. She proved she had her uses though. Especially in the end. I might feel a little sad for how she died if it hadn't been her idea to kill me in the first place.
Bill never even knew. It all happened so fast. I still can't believe how he tricked me. But I had enough time to make the switch. No one even noticed when I got my book back out of the Jeep. True I had to borrow Kisha's body for that, but I can fix that.
Now that I have my book back I can fix more than just that, really. Bill had his chance. So many chances and not once did he take them.
I know some of you would say take that as a hint, but we belong together. No one can tell me that we don't. If we didn't this spell wouldn't have worked. Bill wouldn't be standing in front of me now and he wouldn't look like he did on that roof last night.
"Tamara," he calls to me. It sounds so good to hear him say my name again. His days of trickery are through. As are his days with that nothing he called a wife.
He's truly mine now. I always knew there was something in him that wanted me. I really could see that night I went to see him at home.
But now Bill's not a mindless slave. Not like he would have been had I touched him before he died. His need for me brought him back, just as mine for him did for me.
"I love you, Tamara. I've always loved you," he tells me as he moves closer. I know he's telling me the truth. Our souls are bound together now no matter how long we live. Just the way it always was, though it took this for some to realize it.
The End
