It was the day before Grace and Wayne's wedding and Lisbon was waling into her private hotel room when she saw a note sitting on her bedside table. It read:

"You can dance, every dance with the guy who gives you the eye, let him hold you tight, you can smile, every smile for the man who held your hand neath the pale moon light

But don't forget who's taking you home and in whose arms you're gonna be,

So darling save the last dance for me"

~ PJ

She looked at the note with surprise, surely she would of locked the door before she left, right? Then she saw the initials at the end of the note. "PJ It couldn't be him, it cant be" she said, choosing to brush it off and go have a shower before getting ready for a early night, ahead of the big day tomorrow morning. Just as she finished her shower, she heard someone walk by her door and a few moments later, she saw a note being slipped under. Her cop instincts kicked in straight away and was about to open the door, until she realised that she was only wrapped in a towel and still had wet hair.

She quickly ran over to the door and picked up the letter, edger to see what was written inside and was surprised to see another quote from Michael Buble's song, Save the Last dance for me, one of her favorites, after the spice girls of course.

"You can dance, go and carry on, till the night is gone and it's time to go

If he asks if you're all alone, can he walk you home, you must tell him no

Cause don't forget who's taking you home, and in whose arms you're gonna be

Save the last dance for me"

~PJ

Once again, Lisbon stared at the little piece of paper in her hand. Her thoughts went to her consultant and wondered if this was him, trying to profess a love for her that she only wished he had, or if it is someone else with the same initials. Feeling a yawn coming on, Lisbon decided that she was tired and headed off to bed, with a smile of her lips and her consultant on her mind.

The next day went quickly, they all got Grace ready before putting on their wonderful bridesmaid dresses and headed over to the church for what could only be described as the most beautiful and perfect ceremony anyone could ask for. It wasn't long until the end of the reception and the DJ played the very last song. Lisbon wasn't surprised at all to hear that it was the same song that was someone was writing down on paper and slipping it under her door. Smiling, she looked around for Patrick but couldn't find him anywhere. Her smile drooped a little until she felt a pair of strong arms hug her from behind, and a smooth voice singing the last lyrics of the song in her ear,

"Baby don't you know I love you so, can't you feel it when we touch

I will never, never let you go, I love you oh so much

Oh baby won't you save the last dance for me"

She turns around only to see the face of her consultant Patrick Jane.

"I didn't know you could sing?" She says softly.

"I tell you I love you and you question me about my singing?" he says joking.

"Well then, I Love you too Patrick"

He pulls her in for a slow kiss, full of love but before it gets so steamy, she breaks away from him and leads him away from the reception to her room in the nearby hotel, totally forgetting about the happy couple, who were saying their goodbyes before they set off on their honeymoon.
