She was a dreamer all right. They both were. Jennifer wanted to be Hollywood's biggest star. Taryn wanted to be married to Don Dokken. Oh and how they both wanted those dreams to come true. And they tried, and tried to make it come true. How would I know? Well, Jennifer and Taryn were my best friends.
Jennifer was always into acting. She always got the lead role in the school play. And she was pretty damn good at it too. But her parents never took her to any sort of auditions, and that's a shame because Jennifer would have gotten really far.
Taryn, where to start with Taryn? Well she came from a real troubled home. She hardly ever saw her dad, because he was always at work, and well her mom was a drunken bitch. Taryn's escape? She blare Dokken day and night. She had the, and I mean the biggest crush on Don Dokken, Taryn thought that he could make all her troubles go away like his music does. She really wanted to be Taryn Dokken.
But of course that never happened. All thanks to that bastard named Freddy Krueger. He was the biggest cause in shattering those young girl's dreams. He killed them before they could happen. Who knows? They could have been accomplished...if only given the chance to live.
AUTHOR NOTE: Something I found in a notebook a while back... I added a bit onto the last paragraph. Just a simple one-shot about Jennifer Caulfield and Taryn White, my faves from the Nightmare On Elm Street series. This is pretty old too. As if you read some of my earlier fics, it kinda ties in. I was so Dokken crazed then. Pfft. I was HORRIBLE!
