A/N: This is my terribly cliché entree for Everyone Loves an Irish Girl's Wealsey's Winter Competition. I had fun writing it, though.(:

disclaimer time! I don't own Harry Potter! I'm a ginger, though. Does that make me a Weasley?

It was a seemingly normal Christmas present, wrapped in festive green and red wrapping paper with an obnoxious yellow bow slapped on the top. Nothing too frightening...

Rose checked the tag, a grin lighting up her face.

"Oh look, Scorp." She sniggered, "You weren't on the naughty list this year."

Scorpius raised a light blonde brow, "Santa? Really? I was under the impression that we were in our Seventh Year at Hogwarts, Rosie."

"It's not from me." Rose laughed.

Scorp looked over at his girlfriend's parents. Mrs. Weasley was trying to contain her laughter while Mr. Weasley just scowled threateningly at him. He'd been dating his daughter for nearly three years and her father still hated him with a fiery passion.

"It's not from me." Hermione said, giggling.

"I don't get Malfoy's Christmas presents." Mr. Weasley grumbled, "Especially when they're annoying gits who date my daughter..."

Hermione elbowed him in the ribs, "Ronald!"

"Mione! He's a Malfoy!"

"Who I love." Rose said quietly, sending her father an angry look.

Ron shut up after that.

After a few seconds of uncomfortable silence, Rose tossed the present in his boyfriend's lap. "You're gonna love it."

"Well, if whatever in here is half as fabulous as this bow..." Scorp started sarcastically, ripping the shiny golden bow from the wrapping paper and sticking it on Rose's ginger head.

He ripped open the paper after that, eager to see what the two Weasley girl's found so damn funny.

When Scorpius opened it, he didn't find it funny at all.

It was a lime green jumper, a bright yellow 'S' sown into the front. In reality, he probably should have been expecting something like this.

"Mum!" Ron said loudly, an extremely offended look on his face. His own mother had made a Weasley jumper for a Malfoy!

Rose only laughed harder, falling on her back and wiping tears from her pretty blue eyes.

"I guess Molly really likes you." Hermione said, obviously amused by Ron's anger.

Scorpius stared at the offending piece of clothing for a few seconds, and then his lips twitched.

Rose stared, disbelieving.

"At least it's green." Scorp shrugged.

He saw a flash of red before he was sent on his back by a hug with the force of a hockey tackle. Rose nuzzled her nose against Scorpius' neck, sighing contentedly.

"Welcome to the family."

Scorpius returned home later that day, his new jumper shoved in the bottom of his overnight bag. It wasn't that his parents would be angry with him, it's just his father would never let him live it down.

He walked into the dining area to find both his father and mother holding two neatly wrapped packages, looks of equal confusion and amusement on both their faces.

Draco held up his very own lime green jumper, smirking, "Do you think I can pull of neon green, Scorp?"

Scorpius and Astoria couldn't stop laughing.

"I just hope Scorpius and his family like their gifts!" Molly said worriedly at the dinner table that night, "I've never knitted such bright jumpers before..."
