"What's that?" Mal asked Jessie regarding the book in her hand.
"Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them," Upon seeing Mal's confused expression she continued with, "Its a required book for first years, and before you ask, yes I am a second year but I decided to read it again."
"Ok," was all Mal said before she went back to her drawing.
"Ugh..." Evie all but growled as she stepped into the room slamming the door behind her.
"Woah E, what did that door ever do to you?"
Mal always seems to make a joke. Evie didn't even answer that as she stormed over to her bed.
"Chad?" I guessed. All I got was a nod, then she turned on her side, "He is so rude, today he pushed the limit by talking about magic. He just walks past while talking to his friends about how I must be such a disappointment to my mom since I don't have magic."
"Evie he doesn't know..." I started before she cut me off saying, "What's the word for that? Magical family but not having magic?"
"Squib."
"Right."
"I'm gonna go to bed."
"Sheesh E, it's only like 9 o clock, what are you an AK?" Mal joked but Evie had already fallen asleep.
