I own nothing, except for my OC. My somewhat, kind of, not really OC in this case.

"What goes through your head, when you see one of my past lovers and I talking?" Ares had seated himself in a chair in his bed chambers, though his posture mimicked that of a king on a throne. The god was addressing his spouse whom was undoing the braiding in her hair on the other side of the room.

Bia rose a brow at Ares' question. His cat like face was smirking at her. She knew very well what he was trying to do and she was not going to give him the satisfaction by answering with any kind of jealousy or malice. She had already mastered Ares' games years ago.

"Not much honestly." She continued on combing her fingers through her hair.

"Really now?" He replied, his fingers testily tapping the arm of his throne.

"None of them possess the qualities you enjoy in a woman." The goddess crept across the room towards her husband all the while casually combing her hair.

"Is that so?"

"Soft and coy women are lovely but,"

"But?"

"I have seen first hand that you prefer women less timid," She sat on his leg, nimble fingers continuing to work their way through wavy locks.

"And what kind of woman is that?" He looked up at her. She began to grin; the answer to this game was one she had exercised time and time again before. She had released her hair and began to straddle Ares.

"The kind that isn't afraid to endeavor for dominance and abandon submission."

"How is it you know I don't like submissiveness?" Ares rested his hands on her hips.

"Then you never would have married me now would you?"

"True," he hummed.

"And also you told me yourself countless times before that you find coyness irritating."

"Have I?" The expression of question on his face was genuine as he looked away blindly, lost in thought; Bia could see that clear as day.

"Yes you have," She took firm hold of his jaw and directed his line of vision to return to her, "now I have a question for you."

"Ask away my dear."

"What would you do if I were to get a lover of my own?" She asked through a half lidded stare. Ares only smirked as the hold he had on Bia's hips tightened and he brought her closer.

"Then I'd kill him." His proclamation was without hesitation and was almost said in a singsong voice.

"I was hoping you would say that." Bia smiled and kissed his brow.
