I do not own Criminal Minds.

Shorter than what I prefer doing, but I had to get something out and I hope you still enjoy. :P

Supervisory Special Agent Derek Morgan admired the tasty treat in his hand; a chocolate covered donut with sprinkles. A delicious, sweet morsel he couldn't wait to dig his taste buds into. Not wanting to draw much attention to himself due to his mouth that was watering, he drew the food consisting of many calories closer, shutting his eyes as his tongue was nearly in contact with sugary goodness.

"Donuts are unhealthy, you know."

Stopping right before he could take a bite, Derek withdrew the donut and turned to glare at the one who interrupted his snack. Spencer Reid sat at his desk, watching the older man intently, though occasionally eyeballing the object in Morgan's hand.

"So?" He replied, preparing to take his first bite again.

"They're loaded with sugar and calories." Reid quipped.

"And you're one to talk, you fill your coffee to the top with sugar everyday." The dark skinned agent defended.

"But I need it to stay awake." Spencer admitted weakly.

"Yeah, and I'm a little hungry right now and a chocolate donut sounded good."

"They're very fattening."

"Reid, I don't think one donut is gonna hurt me, or your skinny ass for that matter."

"Do you know how many people die of heart attacks each day?"

"Pretty Boy, look at me," Derek outstretched his arms to the side, revealing his toned frame. "I'm all muscle and no fat, unlike yourself, you're just skin and bones." When he didn't get an expected response, he attempted to take another bite out of his uneaten pastry.

"Heart attacks most often occur in the morning, especially on Mondays." Spencer suddenly said, stopping Morgan in mid-bite.

"Reid," He growled. "If you say something about heart attacks again, I'll kick your ass."

"But still-"

"Just let me eat my donut, okay kid? Can you do that?" He half pleaded, but didn't want to sound too desperate.

"Fine, fine." Spencer held up his hands in defeat and turned to his desk.

"Finally." Morgan breathed quietly, it was about time! Damn that Reid and his huge intellect. Sometimes the boy was a little too smart for his own good. No matter at the moment, not while he now had a chance to eat his-

"Guys, we've got a case, and it's a bad one." JJ called out to the two profilers down in the bullpen, barely passing a glance as she headed straight to the conference room. Spencer hopped from his seat and followed the blonde, acting as if nothing had happened during the last few minutes. Derek stared down at the baked treat still in his hand, shaking his head, he carelessly tossed it behind his shoulder, not bothering to find out where it landed. He didn't manage to reach the steps in time before a familiar voice rang out, one that he didn't really feel like hearing today.

"Agent Morgan, was this yours?" Erin Strauss asked, gesturing to the chocolate covered pastry that was now under her left shoe. The Section Chief had that famous 'lecture glare' of her's on her face; The one that nobody ever wants to see on a bad day.

And Morgan was definitely having a bad day so far, who knows what is yet to come, and it was only 10:30 AM. Even as Strauss began her bombardment about being tidy, he couldn't possibly forget the one who started it all...

"I'm gonna get you for today Reid, just you wait."

The End!
