Jaye silently tip-toed towards Rainbow Dash's room. This was the mission of all missions before her. She carefully opened the door and flinched at the sight of the room's owner.
Thankfully, she appeared fast asleep and unwakeable. The young adult smiled and turned her head towards the dresser, where a copy of "Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone" sat by a few miscellaneous items. Keeping an eye on Rainbow, Jaye carefully reached out and snatched the book.
Tucking it under her arm, the girl ran from the bedroom, silently chuckling at her success. That is, until she heard a familiar voice squeal from upstairs.
"DARING DO!"
Shit.
She ran out the front door, hoping that Rainbow would not suspect that she had taken it. She had to have ran maybe half a mile by the time she ran into Fluttershy, who had a concerned look on her face.
"Fluttershy, what's wrong?" Jaye asked.
"Um... I... um..." After a moment of thought, Jaye realized that Fluttershy was staring at something right behind her. She spun around, a voice filling her ears, but never had a chance to respond or register who it was as she felt a hoof hit her in the face and knock her down to the ground.

Jaye's eyes fluttered open as the sound of beeping reached her ears. Her eyes refocused and she met eyes with her roommate, Aura. On the other side of her bed was Twilight Sparkle, who had a expression of irked disappointment.
"You okay, bestie?" The foolish girl nodded in response.
"You tried taking Rainbow's book, didn't you?" Twilight asked. The teen groaned as the last words she heard flooded through her memory.
"Nobody takes Daring Do!"
