"I can't believe that guy was trying to eat that 50 pound hamburger in 60 seconds," Austin said to Ally as they walked into sonic boom.

"I can't believe that he did have a single stain on his shirt considering how much sauce he put on it," Ally replied.

"Except pit stains" Austin pointed out.

"Ally, what happened? Trish asked as she walked in with Dez.

"Well, we had lunch at the food court and watched a man try to eat a 50 pound burger in a minute.

"Yeah, yeah that's nice but what happened to the store," Trish asked impatiently. "Everything is gone!"

"What are you talking about? Nothing is gone." Ally slowly turned around. "Ah what happened to the store?"

"Oh nothing, your dad told me that he was getting all the instruments polished," Dez said as he looked through magazines.

"Why would he tell you," Ally asked taking the magazines away from him.

"Oh, because I was the only one here."

"Oh."

Hours went by and they did nothing. Ally was writing in her book. Trisha was reading a magazine, Dez was down at the food court and Austin was looking at a pancake magazine.

"Hey guys I you will never believe who I saw in the food court!" Dez ran in screaming to Austin.

"Who," Trish asked trying to be sarcastic

"I don't know, but there is this girl and she was singing double take and it was amazing! You should really check her out!"

Dez was right there was a girl singing their songs. She had just finished singing Illusion and was starting Not a love song. There was a huge crowd circling a girl with curly hair that was black with red strips in it, she was pale and had green eyes. Austin walked up to her only to get a closer look. Once she saw him, she smiled. She had dimples and just a little bit of freckles on the side of her cheek bones that had out lined her face. He couldn't stop staring.

Ally noticed that Austin had gone closer and she moved him to the side to see her too. But all that she could see was a girl with a guitar.

The girl stopped playing and every one left money in her guitar case. Once the crowd left she slowly put her guitar down any walked up to them.

"Hey, those really are good songs. Every body back home used to call me lyric because of my own songs, but my name is Lyra Styles. Some people also call me Letty since it's my middle name. I really don't care which."

"Hey, I'm Austin, as you may already know since you were playing our songs, but that's Trisha and Dez. And this is Ally, she writes the songs," he said as he introduced them.

"Who? I thought you write the songs," she implied about Ally.

"How can you hear about me but you've never heard about Ally," Austin argued.

"You see, back in Texas, which is where I'm from, we only know of the singers. Not the writers, unless the singer is the writer. But I do know her I just didn't think she wrote the songs. And I didn't even know her name."

Everything was awkward for Ally. Lyra knew about Austin but didn't know she wrote the songs. Austin and Lyra sat and talked for a long time, she even talked to Trish and Dez but not a word to Ally. Already she could tell this wasn't gonna end well between them two.
