He checked his ship's chronometer, he was late by just under three Terran minutes. Unacceptable, he thought, this wouldn't do at all, at least not without some extra help. "Cumall, initiate distraction pattern omega-five-alpha" he barked over the vox, not waiting for a reply, knowing full well his number two could handle this issue-free. He turned to Natalia, a Death Cult assassin he recruited to join his retinue around fifteen Terran years ago, nodding to confirm that yes, he did want her watching the rear entrance for intruders. An Inquisitorial Rosette has its perks for sure, but it also came with great responsibility, and the Inquisitor was not a man to let the Emperor down. Leaving the safe confines of his ship, he made his way towards his target's home, hoping to catch him unawares…

"The truth is, I am the Iron Man". He probably should not have said this, he definitely should not have said it over the hive-wide PA system, and saying it in front of representatives who would broadcast it on every open frequency for as long as they could was a mistake beyond compare, but right now, his choice of words was not at the forefront of Antonio Strake's mind, instead that spot was taken by feelings of relief. After gangers attacked a manufactorum owned by Strake whilst he was giving a tour, he was forced to produce many terrible weapons for them before escaping using an archaeotech armour of sorts. Now that he had destroyed all of his weapons he could find in the gangers' hideouts, and after a messy reunion with his long-time business partner Obadias, all he was concerned with was returning home, where he could officially put a halt to all weapons sales on-planet, only providing to the nearby Imperial Guard regiments. But all that was irrelevant now, all he cared about was a can of cheap Rotgut Booze and his own warm bed, and it was this thought he kept in mind while making his way to his home on the hive spires, where he knew he could indulge in these pleasures bother-free.

As Strake entered his home, the Inquisitor mentally rehearsed what he needed to do, going through every step once again, this had to be done perfectly, he knew he would only get one chance at this, there was no way the security system's machine spirit would be as receptive as it was tonight again. He saw Strake coming, he must have heard the servitor's vocalisations sounding off. Motherfrakker, this would have been a non-issue if the ship arrived on time, but the Inquisition takes the galaxy as it is, not as they would like it to be, so this would have to do. "Hello?", here comes the voice that became famous across the sub-sector, he phrased it a little differently from how he predicted, but the effect was still there.

"I am the Iron Man" said the Inquisitor, "Do you think you are the only powered-up vigilante Mister Strake? You have become part of a much bigger universe, you just do not know it yet"

"Who the feth are you?" retorted Strake, clearly on the defensive

"Nikolai Furioso, Inquisitor"

"Oh", he sounded disappointed, Furioso wondered how that worked

"I am here to talk about the Avenger Initiative"
