Summary:
Six months had passed since the Titans witnessed the death of one of their members and friends. The Tower mostly destroyed and the group dismembered. A new group of villains is forming and the Titans are forced to reform by Amanda Waller and the rest of the Government agents with the encouragement of the Justice League. The group must get past their loss and learn once again how to fight as a team.
Chapter One:
The tower that once stood tall on the bay of the river in New York City, New York, now stood crumbling with a gaping hole in the side leaving the top of the T shape open to the elements. Only six months ago had the incident taken place. The Advanced Research Group Uniting Super Humans, or A.R.G.U.S. for short, was tasked with the investigation alongside the NYPD. Though not required after the events that took place in the Tower slightly over six months ago, the Titans disbanded themselves and left the tower abandoned.
Amanda Waller kicked over a piece of debris that had come loose from the tile ceiling cursing under her breath at the state the Titan's Tower was left in. She walked around the abandoned building with a small group of A.R.G.U.S. agents. She had tasked the agents with taking a helicopter ride to the top of the Titan's Tower to asses the amount of rebuilding it would need before the Titan's would be recalled.
"More work then I thought this place has been left to go to shit." she mumbled looking around her before stepping over broken glass and staring out the large hole in the windows and out to the water below.
"Are you sure this is a good idea Waller?" a familiar voice spoke from behind her. Mr. Bruce Wayne, the legal guardian of one of the members of the Teen Titans and superhero the Batman. She had asked him to come as a reliable second opinion.
"We have no other choice." Amanda muttered pushing a strand of hair out of her eye that had been blown loose by the winds coming in from the broken building. "How is Dick and Starfire doing?" She asked only half caring for an answer. She did not like to dwell in the emotions of the heroes that A.R.D.U.S. dealt with.
"Fine." was all Bruce responded, "But I know they will put up a fight against this. They don't even know were the others are still."
"We will set up a task force to find them, and soon." pausing she looked out towards the city skyline squinting her eyes at the glaring glass of the skyscrapers as the sun hit against it, "A war is coming, and they are desperately going to be needed."
