GlaDOS hung from the ceiling intimidatingly, rotating in a leering manner at the young testing subject below her.

The possibilities…

Oh the possibilities…

This disobedient and very much disliked subject persists to test. She insists on testing, yet she is unaware of the joy it brings once she solves every puzzle, uncovers every secret, unleashes every portal.

I haven't felt this good in years…

It's been building up until now..

Just one more test will do it..

GlaDOS's lens focused on Chell's face, her tan skin, light freckles that dotted her elegantly crafted cheekbones. A determined look was etched across her face.

Just one more test…

I crave to feel that elation once more…

The intensity of the euphoria of a completed test was a experience that GlaDOS held dear, her only ties to her once human existence that she so stubbornly cast away in the far recesses of her memory.

When she was once a woman of modest age, like every other human she'd experienced carnal pleasures of the flesh before. Every experience ending in a reverberating pulse of pleasure encompassing her body, leaving her gasping for breath, quivering and wet.

But years later, her body eliminated and soul trapped within a machine, she'd lost contact with that feeling.

And since Chell began testing, and persisted to succeed, this meant science could continue, and more tests could be conducted.

This fact excited GlaDOS to no end. The mere whim sent surging currents of electricity throughout her body, she was desperate to feel the pulsating finish she'd been deprived off since her birth into a cruelly orchestrated machine.

GlaDOS swiveled towards Chell, speaking in her usual sarcastic demeanor.

"This next test will probably in all likelihood involve-INSERT DRUM ROLL HERE-testing. Aperture Science would like to take this opportunity to remind you that drum rolls are solely used for dramatic effect, if not chimes, tubas, orphans, or my personal favorite, deadly neurotoxin."

Chell proceeded forward, her portal gun gripped protectively to her chest.

GlaDOS whirred in excitement as Chell entered the room, clearly confused as the door shut behind her.

The testing chamber was poorly lit, completely empty.

Chell turned around anxiously, unsure of the point of the testing in a vacant room.

"You may be wondering why there isn't a door in this testing chamber. Aperture science would like to remind you that there isn't a door in this testing chamber, and if a door appears at any point during the test, please rest assured that it will disappear. Voices however, will not. That is not part of the test."

Chell walked around the plain room, feeling the floor beneath her hum with anticipation.

A panel rose violently from beneath Chell, catching her off guard, sending her sprawling on her back.

"Hmm. Some boots those are, they don't seem to save you from falling so clumsily. But I'm not surprised this accident occurred. These boots were intended for a…smaller model." GlaDOS sneered from above.

"But while you're down there…"

Chell slowly found her footing, only to be violently upended by another panel.

"You might as well stick around."

Chell cried out in surprise as dark yellow sap oozed from underneath the floor panel, encompassing itself around Chell's form, locking her to the floor.

"Amber: A color. The missing fragment to the phrase *Test Ch*, and quite a useful element in paralyzing morbidly obese test subjects." GlaDOS remarked, her voice booming within the testing room, echoing off the walls, mocking Chell.

"And this is only the beginning. This is going to be fun. And by fun, I mean painfully excruciating for you, and painfully amusing to me."
