AN: So I'm hoping you guys can figure out when I set this and how I messed with the timeline and such without my having to tell you? Yes?

She passed on, yet he knew not. Bound to the Coliseum, Snow dreams of the day he can once again be with his love.

Days passed, yet it seemed as if it were years. Each day spent without Serah seemed like an eternity. Snow paced back and forth, a common thing for him now. Would he be freed one of these days? Had Serah and Noel fixed the final paradox? Was she alright?

Serah. She was in his mind every hour of the day and in his dreams every minute of the night. Her smile, those trusting eyes, and her small frame were the images the kept him going. His beautiful fiancée.

Some days, he wondered why he hadn't just married her. Or, and a small part of him always hated the thought but he still thought it, was she better off with Noel?

He was there for her when he couldn't be. Noel had been the one to get her back up off her feet after he left her. But no, she wouldn't do that to him. She was just as loyal as he was to her, and Noel was just her friend. Yes, a friend.

Snow looked down at his hands. What had he become? A monster, that's what. A man used to fight, even fight those closest to him. The battle against Serah had been the toughest thing he had to do. She wanted to fight, to show how she matured, and he let her even though his mind was screaming for him to not fight back and let her win. His hold to the Coliseum, however, kept that from happening.

But once he was free, thing would be normal again. He would get to see his Serah, scoop her into his arms and just hold her. All he wanted was to see that smile, brush a strand of her hair from her face, and kiss those soft lips of hers.

And all he had to do was to break free of the hold the Coliseum had and he would go to her. He would go and see Hope, Sazh, even Lightning. But Serah, she was the one that mattered. If he could see no one but her, then so he would just do that.

And it was with that thought that he prepared to face his next opponent.

"This one is for you, Serah. For our reunion."

At the end of time in the afterworld, Serah watched as her fiancé fought hard to free himself. She smiled when he finally broke the hold of the Coliseum, yet saw with sadness the pain in his eyes when he found out she was gone. The tears he cried drowned her, the pain he felt ten times amplified in her heart.

Her Snow. One day, they would be together. How long it would take, neither knew. But each held onto the hope and dream that awaited them that fateful day.
