Please don't come Noctis.

Princess Stella was the only person standing on the street. A cold wind fluttered and played with her golden strands of long hair. Her violet eyes were closed shut as she prayed and hoped that her wish would be answered.

Please Noctis, stay where you are...

She had kept her love for Noctis hidden from her family and friends. No one knew about it. The two, since they were little were always forbidden from being with each other. But, somehow, they met. And against all odds, the two formed a bond.

Tonight was supposed to be the night they ran away. Each would renounce their titles as prince and princess and run away from Tenebrae. They would start a new life together. Stella would be away from her family and Noctis would finally be free of the crystal.

But Etro interveened. She had changed the whole plan and now everything was spiraling out of control.

The crashing sound of concrete and steel filled the air. It caught her attention from her inner monologue and caused her to look up.

Out of the dust and concrete stumbled a figure, clothed in black.

"No," the princess whispered. She knew exactly who it was.

"Stella!" Noctis yelled. He was out of breath. He looked exhausted and worn down, his body seemed to ache with pain. He must have gotten into a battle.

Please Etro, don't make me fight him. I don't want to do this.

The prince took a few steps forward. Stella responded by walking away, but she did not get far before a powerful surge flowed through her veins.

No Etro, not now!

Her heart dropped as she saw airy purple lines float and spin around her body, like ribbons. Noctis must have seen them, he should have seen them. Yet he was still comming toward her.

"Noctis don't!" Stella screamed. She could feel tears welling in her eyes.

You belong to me now!

It was Etro. Stella's eyes opened in fear. How could she fight against a power that controlled her. She was now a puppet on a string. What the puppet master did, the puppet obeyed. It was unavoidable.

The lines of purple mist disappeared behind the princess and formed a bow and arrow insignia. She could not see it, but she saw the disbelief in Noctis's eyes.

"St...Stella?" he said in disbelief. He had stopped moving and was staring at the sign behind the princess. His own insignia of blue wings and circles had formed as well.

The princess closed her eyes once again.

"I'm sorry Noctis," she spoke. "I'm so sorry."

Author's Note: Well, I've written a lot about Lightning and Noctis, so I figured I'd write a Stella and Noctis story. I hope you like it.
