(Author's AN) Hey all I decided to make a breath of the wild fanfic despite not ever making a fanfic. Please tell me what you think, and if you have any ideas on improvement please tell me. Well enjoy!

(Link's POV)

I remember little of my past life. All I remember are a handful of memories that a beautiful princess, and old friend, salvaged for me. I get lost in thought of who I was 100 years ago, staring into the beautiful lanscape of Hyrule. Until the Princess calls out to me.

"Link!" I turn around and see her running up to me, it seems that she was looking for me. She finally stops in front of me and takes a few seconds to catch her breath. "Link I was wondering where you were."

I begin to feel guilt in my heart for making her worry.

"I'm sorry Princess, please forgive me."

Zelda simply shakes her head and sighs with resentment of the title I refered her to.

"Link, please don't be so formal, I would appreciate it more if you would just call me by my name."

It was my turn to sigh, despite the fact that we have been having this conversation over a dozen times everyday, I found it difficult to follow that request. If I had not remembered our time together one hundred years ago then I would have easily complied.

Yes Pri- uh, Zelda.

She smiles at me and says

"Thank you, Link. Now please tell me what are you doing out here, I thought you would be at the inn in Kakariko Village."

I had nearly forgot that it was night time. I turn back at the field and simply say, "I was just getting some fresh air."

When I turn around I see that Zelda has a glare on her face.

Link, you are a terrible liar, please tell me. I want to help you."

I can see the honesty in her eyes and I soon relent.

"I was wondering about my life, one hundred years ago."

I see Zelda's face turn from a feature of pouting to concern and guily. She quickly turns away from me.

I quickly responed to this saying, "I was just wondering, that's all."

She then quickly,) turns to face me, and I now see that she was trying to hide her tears.

"Why are you being so nice to me! I am the one who did this to you, I don't deserve your kindness!"

She then puts her hands to her face to pour out her tears. I could not stand seeing her like this, so I went over and wrapped my arms around her.

I could feel her suprise as she says my name.

Eventually she calms down, and I say to her, Why don't we go and get some rest then we can discuss this tomorrow?" She nods and then we fo back to Karkariko to get some rest and prepare our-selves for the long day tommorow, the first step of rebuilding Hyrule.
