"I just... thought we could talk for a while."

Ragna couldn't find it in himself to let that slide, especially after everything Noel went through in the past couple of days. He stood in front of a remnant of what Noel was supposed to be. Noel was supposed to be a human being, just like anyone else — not the weapon that she chose to be now. His grip on Blood-scythe tightened as his heterochromic eyes met her blue ones.

"I'm sorry about before, okay? So now, let's talk."

The Murakumo called Kusanagi that stood before him blinked in confusion before saying, "Indefinable energy source detected within target."

Ragna smirked before brandishing Blood-scythe and pointing it at Kusanagi.

"But before we do... I'm gonna have to do something about that armor," he said aloud, with Kusanagi visibly shocked about that. She didn't seem to understand what Ragna was feeling, and certainly not what Ragna was about to do.

The two men behind Ragna were the same, as Jin simply couldn't stand. Hakumen, however, moved forward a bit in an attempt to stop Ragna. There was no way that someone at his level could possibly defeat a weapon that even he, one of the Six Heroes, had no effect on. As he moved towards Ragna, Hakumen found himself stopped by a small hand.

"Please, Mr. Hero. Have more faith in a dog like him."

Hakumen simply groaned, and looked on.

"Bring it on, you idiot!" Ragna called out.

Kusanagi hovered in the air, and summoned orbs near herself. These orbs began to fire lasers straight at Ragna, who used Blood-scythe to deflect and block a few of them. Once he saw the correct opening, Ragna threw his weapon onto the back of his waist before charging at her. He didn't seem content with standing there and waiting out a better strategy than charging, or so Kusanagi's logical train of thought seemed to be confident about. However, Ragna took the opportunity to just leap at her.

In the short amount of time it took for Ragna to reach her, Kusanagi managed to shoot yet another laser. One that managed to pierce through Ragna's chest — right where he heart should be. But that didn't stop him as he pushed forward, ignoring the pain as his left arm became numb.

"Wake the hell up, you—"

Suddenly, there was a gagging noise coming from the Murakumo that Ragna was so intent on saving. In the moment that Ragna's arm grew numb, he managed to actually miss his target. He just jammed his fist into Kusanagi's mouth.

"Wh—" Ragna seemed really confused, "Hey, let go!"

It wasn't as if she was trying to eat his fist. It was just stuck.

The sight of this alone was enough to cause shrill laughter emerge in the large room, with Hazama entering the scene, clapping his hands.

"This wasn't quite what I was looking for, Rags, but it's a pretty damned good sight if you ask me!"

The sight of that man set Ragna's emotions on fire, and he turned to the source of laughter and clapping, moving his hand to get Blood-scythe. The only issue was what was actually attached to that hand, in which case caused the Murakumo to just have her head bumped into Ragna's hip.

"Dammit!" This was just ridiculous.

Hazama just laughed again. This was all just one priceless show.

"Look at it this way, Rags! You won't lose track of her again!"

After finishing his insult against Ragna's guilt for losing her to himself, Hazama just started laughing. Again.
