Okay people, this is my first Bakugan fic and it takes place near the beginning of the original series after Dan's first encounter with Chan Lee along with the intro of my OC.
Dan was walking nowhere in particular when he heard a couple of brawlers like him talking. One of them said "Have you heard about that new brawler?" "You mean the one who beats every brawler he faces with just one Bakugan? Yeah, I heard of him. His Bakugan is insanely powerful" "You hear that Drago? There's a new brawler in town? Feel like taking him on?" said Dan. "Alright" said Drago.
After a while they got to where the new guy was (a dark alley). He came out of the shadows. He was wearing what looked like a deep purple ninja stealth uniform with red around the neck. His hair was golden and spiky to the point that it defied gravity, adding almost an inch to his height. He said "I am Kinsei and this is Ryuujin, my Bakugan partner. No need to introduce yourself Dan. I know why you're here. Let's brawl!"
FIELD OPEN
GATE CARD SET!
Dan: Bakugan brawl! Saurus, stand!
Kinsei: Ryuujin stand. (Ryuujin looks like Drago but is more humanoid)
Bakupod: Saurus: 270Gs Ryuujin: 760Gs
Dan: GATE CARD OPEN! FIRE WALL!
Bakupod: Saurus: Up 50Gs Now 320Gs
(Ryuujin strikes down Saurus)
Dan: GATE CARD SET! GARGONOID STAND!
Kinsei: Ryuujin stand.
Bakupod: Gargonoid: 290Gs
Dan: GATE CARD OPEN! EXPLOSIVE NOVA!
Bakupod: Gargonoid: Up 50Gs Now 340Gs
(Ryuujin strikes down Gargonoid)
Dan: GATE CARD SET! DRAGO STAND!
Kinsei: Ryuujin stand.
Bakupod: Drago: 350Gs
Dan: GATE CARD OPEN! CHARACTER!
Bakupod: Drago: 700Gs
Dan: ABILITY, ACTIVATE! BOOSTED DRAGON!
(A fireball forms in Drago's mouth)
Dan: ABILITY, ACTIVATE! MELT FLARE!
(He throws the ability directly into Boosted Dragon)
Dan: FUSION ABILITY, ACTIVATE! SUPERNOVA!
(He throws it into Melt Flare which is already in Boosted Dragon)
Bakupod: Drago: 1500Gs
Kinsei: Ability, activate. Gate merge.
(Kinsei's gate card fuses with Dan's)
Kinsei: Gate card open. Character.
Bakupod: Ryuujin power doubled. Now 1520Gs
(Ryuujin blasts Drago with a black fireball, ending the battle)
Dan fell to his knees, unable to get up. Kinsei pulled him up and said "No need to be so upset. Your strategy of throwing your abilities on top of each other was brilliant. You're a good brawler but you've got a lot to learn." And with that he disappeared. But it wouldn't be the last time the brawlers would see him.
