Summary: An 'Elite Beat Agents' fic. Spin and Chieftain talk about Agent J's relationship with Starr. Takes place after the end of the game.
"Yo, Chieftain!" The muscular older man looked up and saw Agent Spin walking towards him. The two men were at Commander Kahn's mansion for a celebration party after beating the aliens. Chieftain had gotten tired of all the noise and was looking out into the ocean on the patio.
Spin looked at the setting sun and grinned. "You know…I never thought I would see day light again after turning to stone…" Spin said. A lone seagull flew over their heads as Chieftain just gave Spin a slight nod. After a few moments of silence, Spin said, "So…what do you think about J and Starr?" Chieftain cocked an eyebrow and replied, "What do you mean?"
"I mean…what do you think of them as a couple?" Spin explained, "I, for example, think they're perfect for each other!" Chieftain grinned and said, "Really? How much do you know about J and Starr, anyway?" Spin opened his mouth to answer, but no words came out. He was completely stumped.
Chieftain snickered and continued, "Well, since you ask, I do think they make a good couple. J could use a woman in his life…" Spin nodded and started walking away. "Where you goin'?" "I'm going back inside. Later, Chieftain!" "Yeah…later…"
Chieftain looked back out into the sun and muttered, "Why does that damn Spin have to give a crap? I mean…what about me? I need some loving, too…"
Slowly, the darkness enveloped over the land, and the stars appeared in the sky…
