A/N This may break your hearts. But that's what I'm going for :3

WARNING: THIS WILL BE EXTREMELY SAD, POSSIBLY EVEN MOFFAT HEARTBREAK SAD. Good luck.

"No, no, no, no, no, no. Cas, Cas buddy hang on. Look at me, Cas, damnit Cas open your fucking eyes right now." This wasn't supposed to happen. This wasn't supposed to be how it ends. This couldn't be how it ends. Not like this. Anything but this.

Castiel's eyes opened slowly, weakly. They met the oldest Winchester brother's panicked green. "D..ean." the hunter held onto his friend, the only person he had left in this dark life lay dying in his arms. It took everything he had not to breakdown. He had to stay strong. He was Dean Winchester. And Dean Winchester didn't cry...Not in front of anyone..

"It's okay Cas, you're gonna be fine. Just-just-stay with me man, I'll get you back to the motel and-and I'll get you patched up just you need to hold on, stay with me Cas." he was fumbling with his words now, choking back the pain of loss, yet again.

"Dean, I'm sorry." he knew what he meant. What he was apologizing for. The angel was dying. They both knew it. But Dean didn't want to admit it. He had already lost so much.

"No, no Cas don't. Don't you dare. I've already lost everyone, don't make me lose you too. Don't you dare." it was selfish, yes, he knew it. But he didn't want to be alone. It scared him to think about it. Scared him just as much as the thought of going back to Hell.

But the angel's bright blue eyes slid closed. His grace flashed so bright that Dean had to shield his eyes from it as it burned. There was a searing pain radiating from the hunter's torso as the angel's wings burned their scorched imprint onto his flesh, ruining his shirt.

He ignored it all, the realization of what had just happened hit him. Hard. He refused to believe it though. He had already lost everyone, even Sammy was gone now. And Charlie, oh god, Charlie... He couldn't lose Cas too. He couldn't have just lost everyone.

"No..NO!" he shook the body in his arms "Cas! Cas, no, no, no, no, no! NO! Cas! CASTIEL DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE. DO YOU HEAR ME!? NO. OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES YOU BASTARD, CAS! Don't you dare leave me here alone, you son of a bitch, you bring your feathery ass right back, Castiel do you hear me? I can't lose you too. Not you too Cas, please. I can't-..I need you. Don't make me do this alone."

But it was too late. He was pleading with a corpse. He was alone. He had lost his entire family. Both blood, and not. He had gotten everyone he loved killed. He was the only one left. That was it. That was his curse. The Curse Of Dean Winchester.

A/N I'm not sorry. BY THE WAY. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T ALREADY REALISE. DEAN HAS CAS'S WINGS BURNED INTO HIS TORSO. :3

STILL NOT SORRY.

*Hellhounds barking in the distance* ...Okay, I'M A LITTLE MORE INCLINED TO BE SORRY.
