Minecraftia
Drifting along in the deep blue sea
swimming away, my wolves and me
we sail out to the red setting sun
Beautiful islands, mountains and trees
All of which, and more, we see
A Minecraft man I want to be
When the long, hard day is done
I can return to my lupine family
And when we sail out to the sun
when the long, hard journey is done
we can rest our weary heads in a cave
at night, from the monsters, we must run.
Until they burn in the sun's bright rise
Meeting their painful, untimely demise
we give thanks to Notch, and sail away
to mine, to find our glowing blue prize
Of diamond gems, in a dull grey guise
Trapped underground, to be found in surprise
by a coal-stained miner, who would gasp and say
"What is this – a blessing in disguise?"
And then they would blush
for they were all alone
in this world, trees lush
Grass tall, which no one owned
Except for the miner, alone as he was
No friends or family, just him on his own
Nobody for eternity, because
He was trapped, in this tranquil world, forever alone.
