Summary: set in an AU season 2, when he was on caprica with Kara. Sharon isn't a cylon, so he and her never got together.
Helo arrives back on galactica with starbuck, and there is someone waiting to see him… who is it? You will have to read to find out.
Helo and starbuck come back to a hero's welcome, kara and a few others had gone to caprica to look for helo, and had found him.
Helo was walking down a corridor, he had told everyone not to tell anyone he was back, there was someone he had to see before anyone else knew, so he walked down the corridor, to the mess, where that person, along with some of the other crew where eating dinner.
Helo aswell as Apollo,and starbuck entered the mess.
Helo motioned for everyone who could se him to be quiet as he sneake dup on the most important woman in the world to him.
She was sitting on a table with boomer, crash, hotdog, kat, chief tyrol, gaeta, dee, and a couple of other engineers.
Hotdog, gaeta, dee and tyrol where all watching as he approached her, he bent down and put his hands around her eyes and whispered "guess who?" in her ear
"helo" she giggled as she sprung up and turned towards him, he looked his fiance of 6 months and girlfriend of 2 years the next day up and down, and couldn't help but notice the very obvious bump that was now her stomach. He grinned when he realised he was going to be a daddy.
"Hay baby" he said
She looked at him with tears rolling down her face
She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his neck and he swung her round.
Everyone cheered at the happy reunion.
"karl, if I wasn't pregnant, id frakking kill you for leaving me for so frakking long" she said.
"iam sorry baby" he said kissing her.
"ok, your forgiven" she giggled.
"how are you doing?"
"were,okay, your daughter is very healthy, and active" she said as the baby kicked.
"daughter! Were having a girl?" helo asked
"yeah helo we are, you know since I found out everyone's been asking what it is, but I wouldn't tell them till either you got home, and I could tell you, or she came, but yeah, guys it's a girl" she said to the gang.
"gods I love you sooo much baby" helo said hugging her
"I love you too karl"
"gods cally iam so sorry I left you two for this long" he said to cally
"baby, its okay, your home now, plus it wasn't your fault, it was no ones, so stop apologising" cally said.
Everyone welcomed helo home that evening with a small party; it was also an engagement part for them, because everything had kicked off before they could tell everyone.
Cally was dancing with kara,Sharon,kat, and dee, she was wearing a pair of blue jeans, and a pink top that was fitted around the bust and then flared out over her ever increasing bump it stopped at her hips, and she was wearing pink shoes to match the top, and Sharon had helped her to curl her long hair.
They where dancing to pussycat dolls 'beep' and 'don't cha'. The girls loved to sing along to don't cha, it was so funky.
