The Mushroom War
The Mushroom War, walking through what's left of this earth it makes me wonder what caused humanity to decimate itself. Was the Mushroom War a rescourse war,
a second cold war that got the stove, or was it simply just the inevitability of my race to fire nuclear weapons. Walking through the streets of a city too damaged to name, I continue to wonder what happened as I come across half eaten skyscrapers skeletons and piles of goo. The real question is if life can possibly repair itself after this, we as a race were slowly destroying it all but not to this extent. Past a small pile of rubble consisting of steel beams nukes and bones I start to see a shimmer of hope in a sea of despair. A pale little girl wearing a blue jean skirt and a dirty pink shirt. Even in the midst of all this she starts to smile. She seems to be unhurt by the massive amounts of radiation and not overly phased by the amount of death surrounding her. As my mind begins to wander off again my ENV suit begins to short out but I dont notice. I start to think of who I am.
