As Dorothy is about to leave, scarecrow cries "please don't go Dorothy!" Dorothy looks back at him with concern and sadness. "Not before I sing you a song of how I really feel" said scarecrow holding her hands. He then approaches the stage and sings. "There's a calm surrender, through the rush of day. When the heat of the rolling wind, can't be turned away" Dorothy paused and butterflies started to form in her stomach. ""An enchanted moment. And it sees me through. It's enough for this wrestless warrior. Just to be with you" then tears started to form in her eyes and she smiles as she hears the words of her favorite song "and can you feel the love tonight? It is where we are. It's enough for this wide eyed wanderer, that we got this far. And can you feel the love tonight? I was lead to rest. It's enough for these kings and vagabonds. Leave the very best" Dorothy was then crying silently with tears of joy. "There's a time for everyone. If they only learn. Like the twist in a kaleidoscope, leaves us all in turns. There's a rhyme and reason, to the wild outdoors. It's enough for this star crossed voyager, to spend some time with yours. And can you feel, the love tonight? It is where we are. It's enough for this wide eyed wanderer, that we've come this far" Dorothy runs up to the stage and smiles. "And can you feel the love tonight, I was lead to rest. It's enough to make kings and vagabonds, leave the very best" Dorothy gets on stage and sings with him with tears of joy "it's enough, to make kings and vagabonds, leave the very best" they then lean in and they kissed. Scarecrow then gave her a little box. She opens it to reveal a locket. "Whenever you think of me, I will always be right here...in your heart" said scarecrow crying. She opened the locket and there was a picture of him. "Oh scarecrow, I'll never forget you" cried Dorothy as she gave him a big hug. As her body disappears, scarecrow whispers in her mind "I love you".
