Welcome, one and all, and thank you for still waiting for a new chapter. I must announce however that this story shall soon be taken down. I have decided that this will be the best decision, until I am able to revise my story.
Yes, I plan to bring this story back from the dead. I will remove parts that I believe are simply unnecessary (Halo rip-off will certainly be a casualty of this purge) and attempt to embellish and polish whenever I can on parts that I believe didn't get enough attention. With any luck, this will make the story more enjoyable to read for all.
For any of you still reading, rest assured, I will finish this story. I must, however, balance my personal life and my work, lest it collapse around me. So, I shall leave this warning up for about 1-2 weeks, in the hopes that those of you that still wish for this to have a payout at the end will get the warning. After that, the story will be removed. A few days after this story has been removed, I shall repost the first and second chapter on this site, either under the same name, under the name "Final Blessing", or under a name that anyone suggests before the story is posted (considering how both names aren't that great, and the good ones are taken.)
I shall repost the old chapters soon after throughout the last days of winter and the spring, however any new content will be forced to wait until the summer, where I'll hopefully have some extra time.
Have faith, those that remain, I fully intend to finish this story, but whether it is this year or the next, I cannot be certain. I simply know that I am unwilling to allow myself to give in to my laziness, and I simply cannot allow so many wondrous ideas to go to waste by letting this story die. Thank you all and I hope to see you all again when this story is up and running once again, or at least half of you.
