Short Story: Yata's night
"Talk"
Inner thoughts.
"Now what…" I said to myself, staring at the ceiling of my room not feeling any sleep. Tomorrow is supposed to be our monthsary, me and my girlfriend Serina-chan, and I think it's the fourth monthsary? Maybe I should ask her when she wakes up? No, no, no, bad idea. I shocked my head from side to side, shaking the suicidal idea out of my head. I mean, how can I possibly even think about asking that?! I should know it by heart! I should be a little more responsible and… Taking care about myself more..
Scratching my head, I crawled off the bed and walked to my bedroom's door to open it slowly, or at least I tried very slowly, but the squeaking sound of the door was kinda loud. I glared at the door for seconds, thinking it will quit its shit down and not wake up Serina-chan.
"Stupid old door.. I'll have to change it later.." murmuring to myself, I left it wide open and walked straight to the couch where she's supposed to be sleeping. Slowly and carefully, I glanced over the couch to see her and there she was, sleeping soundly thinking it was heaven or something.. I mean come on. It's on old, dirty couch that need replacement, right now!.. But, sleeping with that face.. I extended my right arm and poked her cheek very lightly and gently with a wide smile.. Such a cute face you're making, my love.. I noticed her expression changing into.. an annoyed one, so I withdrew my hand quickly and laughed silently at her.
After a few minutes which felt like eternity of watching her sleep, I decided to move her up to more comfortable place to sleep in it. I walked around the couch and stood beside her. Bending down, I sneaked my hand underneath her head while the other hand underneath her knees and carried her Bridal-style to take her to my room.
I started to walk but stopped to glance back at the knocked down TV with expressionless face, thinking that I'll deal with it later.. I continued walking slowly to my room and I placed her down gently on the bed as soon as I reached it, careful not to wake her up.
"You can be cute and stubborn at the same goddamn time.. I'll never let you sleep there and catch a cold.." I whispered with a smile, then crawled up beside her and hugged her very tightly to me.. ".. I love you, Serina-chan.." Kissing her forehead lightly, I felt my eyelids becoming heavier each passing second.. and I was slowly drifting into her heavenly world...
