(Disclaimer: I've only seen a play through of Mother 3 on YouTube, but never got the chance to actually play it. I don't have room for it on my laptop, but once I play it, I may actually rewrite this to make it better. I also don't own anything.
Warning: Some characters may seem OOC. If that is the case, I am truly sorry. This takes place after the game. I feel weird writing this, but weirder for publishing it. I don't know what struck me about this pairing, but something inside me told me to write about it. So, please don't judge too harshly on this please and thank you.)

The first time that Duster realized that he was in love with Flint was when he offered to teach Duster how to dance, something that the crippled man was wary about doing with his leg. But eventually, Flint got Duster upon his feet.
"To make this easier for me to teach you, I'll lead. Just watch what I do then we'll practice with you leading. Alright?" Flint smiled at Duster, who looked away, slightly blushing. Flint either didn't notice, or he did and ignored it as he put his arm around Duster's waist. "We'll start out easy enough, a simple waltz. Now, let me lead." And with that, Flint started counting "One- two- three, one- two- three" under his breath as he moved, occasionally stopping to help Duster figure out what foot to move at what time.

When Duster had a question, Flint answered in the best way possible, and didn't shudder because of his bad breath. Duster was so entranced by everything about Flint, and deep inside his heart, he felt the first inkling of what would soon grow to be love.
