Author's notes:

This is my first try at a one-shot. Well, I must warn you that this was written under ten minutes. Yeah...So I really don't know what to expect. Hehe...So yeah, there...

Disclaimer:

I don't own Naruto. If I did, I'd probably be better in writing. Don't you think?

He leaned against the bridge in his usual spot, waiting for his teammates to arrive. It was just another day, the sun was out and there were no pigs flying...It was just another day.

He heard her footsteps coming closer. He closed his eyes in an attempt to block out any of her daily requests.

"Good morning, Sasuke-kun!" exclaimed Sakura as she happily bounded over towards him, her long pink hair flowing behind her.

He glanced at her as a sign of acknowledgement, before returning to his usual position. Sakura then smiled happily as she stood beside him, facing the river.

It was coming soon, he was sure. It has always been like that every morning. After all, it was just another day.

"Sasuke-kun...Did you know that there's a new wonderful ice cream shop just around the corner?" she asked happily as she faced him. Sasuke smirked inwardly.

Ahh, there you go. It was just another day. He knew where this was going. She was going to ask him out on a date, again.

"...yeah...It's so beautiful to watch the sunset. Did you know that, Sasuke-kun?" she asked yet again. Sasuke resisted the urge to roll his eyes.

What did he have to do to make this girl stop chasing him? She was just too persistent, really. Well, he must admit...he actually liked the attention, even just a little bit. But he'd rather eat his tongue than shout it out for the whole world to hear. Besides, too much of it was too annoying.

"...and the stars at night...yeah...It's amazing to look at them. Did you know that, Sasuke-kun?" She said as she finally faced the river again with a smile on her face.

He looked at her in a bored fashion, waiting for the daily request she made. After all, it was just another day. He closed his eyes yet again.

She sighed dreamily as she smiled towards the river.

"...yeah. I never thought Neji-kun would ever think of doing those things. Yeah...I really had fun yesterday." She said and then Sasuke's eyes snapped open.

It was the day when the tables turned and there was a small crack in Sasuke's pride.

It wasn't just another day, after all.

I don't know...Anyway, this is just my first try. So you could notice why it has a lot of flaws in it. Anyway, I'd appreciate comments and help from other people!
