Lara awoke from her sleep glad to here the birds chirping and the cars driving past her mansion.
She hadn't been at home for quite a while as her Tomb raiding had become a sort of regular thing.
She jumped up from her bed and walked to the kitchen and sat down at the table.
It was her Butler Winston's day off today so she decided to clean the house up so Winston didn't have to the next day.
But before she started the phone rang and she ran towards the phone and picked it up in time.
"Hello miss Croft." The voice was of someone she didn't know.
"I am a friend of one of your friends called Werner von Croy, he told me alot about you and said you have high spirits and never give up. Well I spose you have heard of the golden serpent then have you."
Lara then heard the postman posting something through her door.
"I'll be one second I am just going to pick up the post."
Lara ran up to the front door and saw something sticking out of the letter box which didn't look like any post but GUNS!
Lara ran back to phone before any one had time to shoot.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA well Lara I think you won't be trying to leave the house in a hurry." said the mysterious voice.
"What do want." said Lara with her eyes like stone just staying still.
"Well this artifact is very special to me and I don't want you to find it and try to take it off me. The location of the Golden serpent is in the heart of the Amazon jungle."
Lara was still confused. "Why don't you want me to get my hands on this artifact?" she said puzzled. The man on the phone started laughing, " The reason I don't want you to get hold of the Golden Serpent is because it is said who ever places the Golden serpent crown over there head will possess the power to control everything and can make anything happen."
Lara had to stop this guy who ever it was. She slammed the phone down and opened the knife draw in her kitchen. She picked up a carving knife and her two automatic pistols.
She sneaked into the hall and the guns were still in the letter box.
She grabbed the automatic pistols from her belt and had her hand on the trigger.
She then decided to risk her life.
She ran towards the door.
Just as she came inline with the door the man on the otherside saw her.
He then pulled the trigger on the shot gun and fired in Lara's direction.
Lara side flipped and kept on running. The man then fired another shot but Lara dodged it and ran for the door. She then jumped into the air and drop kicked the door.
The door flung open and the pulled his shot gun from the door and while Lara got up from the floor he held the shotgun to her head and held the trigger.
"Put your guns down and don't move or I'll shoot." the man in the mask said.
"ok I will but ask me this question who do work for". The man in the mask gave no reply but Lara still put her guns down.
"Look to finish me off quick shoot me in the heart."
Lara said not looking scared. The man obeyed to her requests, he put the shotgun to her heart and had his finger at the trigger. Lara then said to trick him "What the hell is that behind you." The man looked behind still having the shotgun to her heart and Lara lifted up the shotgun and flung the guy backwards onto the floor. She kicked the shotgun out of his reach and picked up her automatic pistols. "One more move and your time will be up."
The man then flicked his leg out to trip her up but she back flipped pulled out her guns and sent 2 sets of bullets flying to brain let him lye there to die.
She bent down to see if he was dead and she had sure enough killed him.
She picked up the shotgun and put it in her belt.
She then got a body bag and put his body in it. She put it in the rubbish tip and waited for the dustmen to come and take the body away.
