A/N. Hey guys! It's been forever! Then again, being a freshman and a sophomore in high are two totally different things, and A.P. classes don't get any easier… :p Well that, and I've been having massive writers' block for the past who knows how long, but I'm trying to open my mind and creativity a little more this year, so hopefully you guys can expect me to update more stuffs~ :3 This is just a little thing I wrote based off of Rolling Girl a while ago, which I do sometimes about songs, like Prisoner, I did that one… Anyway, enjoy, and happy belated new year!
There was once a girl, a rolling girl. She gave herself this nickname because she was always rolling inside: rolling out of confusion, fear, or pain. She kept rolling from whatever hurt her: hearing about Luka's new boyfriend for the ninth time this week, failing another math test, or what about those nicknames she was given? Onion? Rapunzel? Or what about Seahorse? As the days went on, she kept on breaking more and more, bit by bit, but no matter how useless or weak she felt, she always said to herself, 'One more time, Miku. You'll be fine.' One more time was all it took to keep alive and well, an ambition, or so she thought.
Upon a Friday eve after another cram school session, she lost it. She just couldn't hold on anymore. In an adrenaline rush of hopelessness, she ran to the roof of the school, ready to jump off. She took in the humid, summer air surrounding her and the glowing lights of the city below until she started sobbing uncontrollably, throwing herself on the concrete ground. She suddenly felt ashamed when she heard a pair of footsteps. She turned to see a boy she'd never seen before. He looked like an angel. Embarrassed and broken, she turned away, or tried to, until the boy enveloped her in her in his arms.
"You must be tired, aren't you?" He asked, in the softest tone she'd heard spoken to her in years. Instead of giving a verbal response, she embraced him back and closed her eyes, not wanting her tears of joy to be seen by this blessing.
