The Fear to love again

Through the pain of losing the one closes to him, from the experience of deaths feel itself a man of moonless might night hair closed his heart to all, to shield himself from loved ones lost.

From the pain came morning, from the morning came mission. A mission to find the one he lost. The determination flared as strong as the loss that shown in the depths of the youths eyes.

With the mission set within his mind he went about to the land that hid his other half his twin brother. For he knew that behind the quiet land of the countryside his brothers body laid waiting for him to find.

Still time moved, not knowing nor caring of the pain he held within his heart. Days too weeks, weeks to months and still he could not solve the mystery he desired to solve. And then he met her, his new mystery, the brown eyed girl, Mai Taniyama.

It was just a need for assistance, or so he told himself. The easy use of blackmail and guilt for the accident she caused.

In the beginning she annoyed him with her questions and clumsiness. She continued to argue with him with her complaints and worries but slowly he began to see another side of her.

As time moved he began to see her as more then a simple clumsy girl, but a loving young lady. He saw her for her motherly nature, her fierce protection over her friends and a warm eyes and friendly smile.

Before he could become aware of what his heart was going before he could do anything to stop himself from falling again his fascination had turned to a protective friendship and that protective feeling turned into something so much stronger...

Love.

Oliver Davis had one day found that his wounded heart had once again opened to someone. Out of fear of the pain he knew he would feel when he had to leave for home he hid the new feeling in the deepest corners of his heart under lock and key.

The day came that his loved one was found and the time for his return home had come. Goodbyes were said and no feelings reveled, not on his side at lest.

She confessed his heart to him, her love for him. His heart leapt but his head refused to believe. She dose not love me, she loves him. He told her that and her chocolate eyes that he loved shed a single tear. His heart pained to do so but he turned and left her there.

Time pasted and the pain did not drift. It only worsened, intensified tenfold. And he could not understand why, though he knew how to ease it; a simple flight away was his morphine, his medicine, his Mai. Unable to take the ripping whole anymore he packed his bags, made his excuses and agreed to the terms of his perants before heading back to Japan to see her though he would never say his real reason to anyone.

Why?

Because he was still afraid to love again.

Its just a one shot poem. I got bord in my English class one day and...TA-DA! Let me know what you think.
