"Okay, okay, how 'bout this," James said, walking beside an annoyed Lily. "Your smile is like expelliarmus, simple but disarming."
"I guess that is kinda clever," Lily said, clutching her books to her chest.
"So will you go out with me now?"
"no"
"What if i said, 'If you were a Dementor, I'd become a criminal just to get your kiss.'" James said hopefull.
"Yeah...no, but again clever." Lily admitted
"My love for you burns like a dying phoenix."
"Right," Lily muttered, rolling her eyes.
"Interested in making some magic together? My wand is at the ready."
"That's awfully forward of you."
"You must be magical, because I've fallen under your spell."
Lily sighed, "No, Potter."
"Are you using the Confundus charm or are you just naturally mind blowing?"
"Cute, but no."
"Come on Evans, what do I have to say?"
"Dunno."
"Evans?"
"Potter?"
"Marry me?"
"You are so weird, Potter."
"Is that a yes?"
"It's a 'no' genius."
"Roses are red, voilets are blue, sugar is sweet and so are you?"
"And here I am thinking it was just a muggle thing."
"You've heard it?"
"Ofcourse, I'm not dumb."
No, you're not, you're the smartest, most beautiful, kindest, sweetest, most independant, most independant, most brave hearted girl I have ever met. But you know what I like most about you? You don't care what other people think of you, you don't care what they say."
"You still wanna go out?" Lily asked, blushing.
"Hogsmeade saturday then?" James asked, grinning.
"Okay," Lily said, walking away, still blushing.
"Wait, one more thing," James called after her. As she turned around, he said, "You know, when I said, "Accio hottie," I didn't expect it to work!"
"I really do need to get to go, James."
"James? That's new."
"So?"
"Nothing."
And as they walked off, neither of them realised that Sirius had wittnessed the whole thing.
"Wait 'til everyone hears about this," Sirius said to himself, grinning.
