She ran through the empty streets of Gotham with tears rolling down her fragile cheeks. Her long red hair battled against the wind like fire, as she ran. The rain that was falling all around her wasn't even close to the amount of tears she had cried because of him.
She knew that he was a mistake and that his arms would never be there to protect her, his gray eyes would never be there to watch over her and his heart would never be there to love her. The green-eyed beauty never knew that disobeying her heart would hurt as much as this.
The night was so black, she wished that she could just snuggle up in the darkest corner on the face of this earth and sleep forever, forgetting everything and dreaming once more about the man that owned the most beautiful blue eyes. She wondered how and why that face always came to her mind and why she was always thinking about him. How did that angel's face invade her head and her heart? Only God knew. But she knew that she fell in love with the man of her dreams…literally.
As the rain increased, she stood on the balcony of a run down building for protection. She shivered and looked around trying to identify everything that was there. Her eyes narrowed as she saw a tall figure standing next to her. She turned around to face him, and looked in his blue eyes.
He looked at her in awe. To him, she was a redhead goddess. He took a step closer to her, their noses almost touching, and softly wiped away the tears that she cried and the rain that covered her delicate face and looked at her emerald eyes. She ran her fingers through his black spiky hair that fell on his face and sealed the empty space between them. He responded passionately and held her tightly, as if she was about to disappear from him forever…and he didn't want that to happen
With that kiss, her black and white world became colorful. She knew that his strong arms would be there to protect her, his ocean blue eyes would be there to watch over her and his heart would be there to love her.
Now, the tears didn't want to fall, her world wasn't going to fall but she knew that she was falling for him…and he felt the same.
But she just stood there, savoring that kiss and said to herself, 'Let it fall…'
