Sum: A promise for you. A dream to her.
The girl slowly opened her eyes. Sun rays shone upon her merciless, telling her it's a brand new day. She landed her feet on the carpet gently, scratching her messy light brown hair. With her eyes half closed, she saw a figure lying at the desk.
A flash of memory played though her head, but she shook it off instantly. "No, it can't be true…"
The figure titled her head up, she blinked. The figure had a black midnight hair, falling down to her hips. She has a cute face, or should say, cat-liked face.
The brunette walked to the desk and wanted to wake the black hair girl. Yui patted her head and she flinched. Immediately, Azusa glared at her angrily, like a cat that was pissed off.
Yui backed up and thought, "This is a dream, isn't it? She can't be here, no way…" After a moment, the cat-like girl realized she had scare Yui, she hugged her.
"This must be a dream. Yes, I was in a dream. A peaceful dream where Azunyan was…" She trailed off, feeling that Azusa's grip were so real, more than a dream. Tears started flowing as she saw her own reflection, only hers, and nobody else. But she was sure that Azusa was here, right in front of her, hugging her, snugging in her embrace.
But why did the mirror reflect nothing? Yui knew the answer too well, that she did not want to deny it. It was too cruel to her, too harsh for her to accept that…
"…Azusa was dead, Yui. You need to face it." That was the last words she heard from her best friend. After that, everything went blurry in her mind. And now, if Azusa was dead, why she's still here?
"A-azusa? Are… you azusa?" Words slipped out from her mouth. The girl titled her head up, staring at the orange orbs that she missed for so long. She kept her mouth shut, buried her head in Yui's warm embrace. She just wanted time to stay still, to give more time spend with Yui. But time did not stop, yet it slipped so far, until they separated for permanently.
"You still remember me, Yui-senpai." Azusa muttered under her breath.
"Are you real?" Azusa closed her eyes, still not wanting to leave Yui's embrace. She could feel the brunette heartbeat echoing inside her mind. Suddenly, she felt droplets, she looked up, Yui was crying, with her cool expression… Azusa flinched and careful left the warm embrace that she was craving for. Her garnet orbs met Yui's.
Her mouth was slightly ajar. After taking several breaths, she finally talked. "Yui-senpai, I'm back… I know its sound wrong for me to be here, but…" She looked down, like a child took a wrong step. Yui was silence; she patted Azusa's head gently.
"…there's a reason for me to be here, and you'll the only one that could help me."
Yui stunned.
